I had about an hour today at lunch to hit up the lake by my house to look for dragons. I actually saw 19 and photographed 17 species (listed below). This Female Bar Winged Skimmer is the first one I have seen and she let me get nice and close. There were dragons everywhere and I really wish I had more time.

Also got my copy of "Field Guide to Dragonflies and Damselflies" yesterday. What a great great book. I encourage everyone in NJ to get a copy.
