If you want to make your dentist frown, this is for you. A ridiculously decadent bar known by many names: 7-layer bar, magic bar, hello dolly, this is not for the faint of heart. I adapted the recipe from Baked by making use of what I have at home.
The base is made with a mix of graham cracker crumb, chocolate cookie crumb, toasted unsweetened coconut shreds, and melted butter. Then it was topped with toasted pecans, dark chocolate chips, dark chocolate chunks, white chocolate chips, milk chocolate swirl chips, peanut butter chips, and a generous soaking of condensed milk. The whole thing was baked for a rather long time to caramelize the condensed milk to golden goodness. Reminds me a bit of caramel or dulce de leche or toffee.
I thought I would find this too over-the-top. Surprisingly, the mix of chewy and gooey was a good balance. Yes, it's rich like you wouldn't believe but noone's fooling you into thinking this is diet food.

Found this tiny bar, that only served shots (or straight alcohol). The woman working there was the sweetest thing ever! We managed to communicate with her in broken Japanese, and she gave us a free drink each of Japanese whiskey after we bought a drink each.
Then, she gave us some sake & lemonade (in a can) and a box of Pocky to take back to the hostel with us.
All this after calling her daughter to tell us where to go out in Japan! Great experience :)
P.s. This is the first time I've ever enjoyed drinking whiskey, and it was straight! But it did burn...

In the Middle Ages Bar temporaly was part of the ancient kingdom of Doclea (Duklja or Дукля). It belonged to the Byzantine Empire, and afterwards became part of the West Bulgarian State.
The city was also part of the Principality of Zeta. Between 1443 and 1571 the region was under Venetian rule. Bar was a city–state which had a coat of arms, flag, statute and minted its own coins. In 1571it was captured by the Turkish who held it until 1871.
Stari Bar has a fantastic Turkish aqueduct and impressive walls damaged by an earthquake.

O Coringão Rock Bar (antigo Pub Underground) promoveu no último sábado (17/08) o Solidary Rock Fest. O bar cobrou um kilo de alimento pelo ingresso no festival. Nove bandas tocaram no dia: Monaretas, Xucro e Grosso, Bolores, Lei Seca, Willie Beberrão, Seed, Riffzero5, Social Suicide e S.O.T.S. I really want this awesome bar from DTC for my office so I can have friends and clients over and offer them a drink from it! It's expensive and I can't afford it but it's worth it to have a little Mad Men style, right? Maybe not.
