Big Kahuna Tiki Huts, James Hawkins, donated a custom built tiki bar to be auctioned off at the “Wheels in Motion” benefitting Darrell Gwynn Foundation which took place on March 4, 2011 in Sunrise FL.

Taken as I was quaffing Sazeracs. Napoleon House had been open just a few days post-Katrina. They weren't serving food, and were down to one bartender and one waiter.
Still, I was never so happy to drink there.

MOC: Snack Bar. I originally designed this in MLCad - apart from the tree, as you can see, which was built by Marco ('Ecclesiastes). This is the first version - the final one, in the other pictures, has a wider and slightly taller step in front.
Female Bar-winged Skimmer. In the comment section is a male.
This is a large species similar to Slaty (L. incesta ) and Great Blue (L. vibrans ) Skimmers. It has a pale face that darkens with age to black with a metallic purple luster dorsally. The thorax is brown and yellow in females and young males. Mature males become dark, with a pale gray pruinescece starting at the front of the thorax, between the wings and progressing posteriorly. The wings are generally clear with a touch of white pruinosity basally in the hindwings and a dark bar on the anterior edge in the basal fifth of all wings. There is also a black bar between the nodus and pterostigma and the tips of each wing are black.

I shot 250 3D images on the trip. I processed 88 of them. This is one of the nicer ones.
This was taken with the Loreo 3D Lens in a cap. The best way to view 3D images is to print them to 4x6 and use the Loreo Deluxe 3D Viewer. I ordered 2 viewers for the couples that went with us.
The annual holiday trip to East Yorkshire and the Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Head area in May.
The weather was tricky at times with a on shore wind causing sea fret affecting the photography.
Day 5, Fraisthorpe Beach.
Due to the weather we decided to go to Fraisthorpe Beach to the south of Bridlington for a walk along the shoreline.
Male and Female Bar-tailed Godwits feeding on the shoreline.
The Bar-tailed Godwit is a rather plain, but quite large wader, more or less confined to marine habitats around Britain’s coasts.
In spring, the males display arresting breeding plumage, with brick-red heads, necks and chests.
They are shorter-necked and -legged than black-tailed godwits, and have a slightly upturned bill.
I know, I know. I'm thinking the same thing... it's a shame she's not more blessed in the looks department.
BAR BL2 56, location unknown, June 1974, photographer unknown, Chuck Zeiler collection. Built in April 1949 as # 556 (c/n 8616), it is one of 59 of this model built (including the BL1 demonstrator, later rebuilt to BL2), one of eight on the BAR roster. It was powered by a 16-cylinder Model 567B prime mover, and some were built with steam generators, evidenced by an exhaust stack which was positioned between the two windshield panes up against the center post dividing them. At the time of its construction, Alco dominated the road switcher market with its RS1 and successor RS2, and EMD needed something with which to compete. This locomotive was the predecessor to the GP7.
