The bar in the round, part is on the beach and the other part in the pool. This place is private and expensive.
Sushi Bar window, Cabot Circus Bristol. Canon 40mm f2.8 with Commlite adapter giving auto focus on Sony A7 II. Though not a raw fish fan, love the window dressing, Wasabi and Ginger.
I think the Canon 40mm is a very underrated lens.
I spent several hours tinkering to come up with this design for an Arch Bar truck. It's based off of designs by Brian Williams and g-rat3. These will replace the current trucks on my Ma & Pa box cars. The truss rods on the cars make clearances for the trucks very tight so I had to come up with pretty compact design. Even so I'll still need to revise the truss rod design for the cars a little to make some extra room.

Tony Sirico, the actor who played “Paulie Walnuts” Gualtieri on the American drama series, “The Sopranos” died the other day at age 79. In his honor, we are highlighting the historic Mulberry Street Bar in the Little Italy 🇮🇹 of Manhattan where scenes from “The Sopranos” featuring the interior of the Averna Social Club were filmed. Mulberry Street Bar was a wonderful choice as it retains much of its original interior since it opened in 1908 including the towering ornate wooden back bar which is inset with mirrors as well as a pressed tin ceiling and inlaid tile floor.

I returned to this image whilst going through the archives as I like to do. It's nice to see images in a new light, perhaps with different meaning to the original shot. The mix of vertical and horizontal lines is appealing, as is the yellow and red of the flag being repeated in the pedalo and kayak beside the shack. Other than those two colours, the palette is fairly muted by the brightness of the sun when this shot was taken.
A row of handmade flavor tinctures stands on the counter at The Ice Cream Bar in San Francisco, CA. The Ice Cream Bar is a full service 1930s style soda fountain and classic lunch counter, serving ice cream, sodas, and savory items. The heart of the store is the authentic 1930s-era soda fountain which was brought out from Mackinaw City, Michigan. Fountains were once the cornerstone of the social scene in many American neighborhoods, a place where people would gather and enjoy a sweet treat.

Taken with my old trusty D90 backup DSLR as the D750 is away at Nikon Service getting a new shutter fitted as a result of a service advisory / recall.
As always, thanks for any comments, views or favorites, they are much appreciated!

A couple weeks ago, I treated myself to an early birthday treat. It had been a number of years since I'd been to the Black Angus. The steak was excellent, the wait staff friendly and the atmosphere relaxing. They were kind enough to let me take a couple photos.
