Bar Duomo is part of the Grand Hotel Duomo in Pisa, Italy and is located about 100 meters from the famous Leaning Tower. What struck me was the rich colors and texture of the old building's face showing signs of disrepair and urban decay. Some might call it "character".

Sounds weird in English, but this is the name of the near village Horný Bar which means The Upper Bar. Anyway strange name. This shot has been taken at the top of the Danubian Canal's dam near to Gabcikovo. The road on the back of the canal is popular trail for bikers and is part of the bicycle trail along Europe’s second longest river the Danube. The trail is situated in the following European countries: Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria. It is 2875 km long!
