To commorate the birth of the great Bard William Shakespeare born in 1574 in Stratford upon Avon on 23rd April which is also St Georges Day here in England

Bard taking a bath in a hidden pond in the woods.

"...Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind..."

OOPS, wrong "Bard"..

This is the Barred whose quote is something more along the lines of "Who, who, who-who"... or "Who cooks for you.."

the clock tower - interior of Bardi Castle (Fortress of Landi)

Castle Bardi overlooks the scenic Emilia-Romagna valley in northern Italy, 60 km from Parma. This castle built in the 900s, on a spur of red jasper, is one of Italy’s medieval treasures.

The spaces dedicated to soldiers' former headquarters are now home to the Museum of Valley Civilization.

The fortress has been property of Princes Landi, from mid 1200 for over four centuries.

At the end of 1500, it was partially transformed into a noble manor.

The Bard & Banker is a Victorian-era pub and restaurant located in downtown Victoria, Vancouver Island, well-known for its luxurious setting and rich history.

Building History: The establishment is housed in a historic building originally constructed in 1885 as a branch of the Bank of British Columbia. Its interiors (featuring high ceilings, elaborate wood detailing, opulent chandeliers, and old bank vaults) reflect its former banking function.

The Name: The name refers to the poet Robert Service, who worked as a bank teller in this very building around 1903 before gaining fame as the "Bard of the Yukon" (hence Bard).

Service and Atmosphere: Today, it is a vibrant spot offering a full menu of pub fare (like fish and chips and shepherd's pie), a wide selection of local craft beers (many from Vancouver Island), and notably, free live music seven nights a week.

Ah Davide, ti odio! ;-)))

Meeting sis Kouse (Krystal), sis J and Firegriff at the Bards' 12 days of Christmas celebration event!

There is a car in the background

Nobody want to hear my songs anymore..

No time to see, no time to feel,

No time to wish and no time to love,

Nobody want to hear me anymore.

You came over, looked at me, loved your limbo moves,

Your soggy sms's ,"dear, I cant liv witout u"

No hangups, lighter than my mighty frizz

No tear, no smile, good to go, face dont match the name I remember

You notice just what you want , whatever, however

Your heart, if exists does not see me swallow the pain

A dynamite dealing, ends as soon as it begins

No fear, not a crime, good to do acts, don't match the fame I remember

A foggy end of the road, I see a saggy baggage

Worn by the worm of passion, no time to heal

No time to move, no time to die,

No time to wish, no time to love,

Nobody want to hear me anymore..

Just nobody want to hear me anymore ?

*Lyrics of my song 'Silent Bard' , composed more than a decade back.

The Avengers - The age of Ultron".

Halloween night ?

Dominated by a slender spire Gothic Revival style, Plounerin, village of 760 inhabitants, is situated in the Cotes d'Armor, Brittany, western of France. It is 1870 that we began to replace the church of the fifteenth century by a modern church. The realization of this project is entrusted to architect Claude-Joseph Lageat.

Local tradition has it that St. Nérin which gives its name to the town came from Britain. His name seems to match that of the Breton bard of the sixth century, Neirin, from the northern Britain.

This next group of pictures is unlikely to have the same appeal as Woodstock and the Reservoir but I was anxious to see this. A treasure in the Hudson Valley sits on the campus of Bard College. The Richard B. Fisher Center for Performing Arts building was designed by Frank Gehry. Among some of Gehry's noted works are the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, the Experience Music Project in Seattle, and Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.

I had hoped by going early in the morning it would provide better lighting on the building but I would have been better off later in the day. In any case my mistake provides an excuse to go again. Nonetheless I hope you enjoy this wild and artistic architecture. I will also add that when I was a teen the size and beauty of the campus had escaped me. I will definitely plan a day to walk the campus hoping to capture the beauty of the place.

Again my apologies about the lighting. I don't feel my pictures do the building justice.

Bard Music Festival 2018 - August 5 2018

This is quite a bit more than five minutes from home, but as summer music festivals go, the Bard Summerscape Festival is so close, it feels like 5 minutes.

This year we saw Anton Rubinstein's opera Demon, which was spectacular.

The building is the Fischer Music Center Hall, designed by Frank Gehry. We think it looks like a Samurai helmet.

Fort Bard (Aosta Valley) 20180420

Fort Bard is a fortified complex built on a rocky prominence above Bard, a town, and comune in the Aosta Valley region of northwestern Italy. Fort Bard has been completely restored after many years of neglect. In 2006 it reopened to tourists as the Museum of the Alps, it has additional art exhibitions and galleries. In the summer, the main courtyard is used to host musical and theatrical performances.

My real #kaiju6k contest entry! I decided to go classic style with both AD&D original classes and 80s/90s minifig pieces (mainly). It was a fun challenge working with my older parts, I'm definitely happy with how they came out!
