Il Forte di Bard (pron. omettendo la "d" finale; in francese Fort de Bard) è un complesso fortificato fatto riedificare nel XIX secolo da Casa Savoia sulla rocca che sovrasta il borgo di Bard, in Valle d'Aosta.Dopo un lungo periodo di abbandono, il forte è stato totalmente restaurato: è stato aperto ai visitatori nel gennaio 2006. Attualmente ospita esposizioni di pittura e di scultura lignea ed è sede del Museo delle Alpi, il polo museale delle Alpi Occidentali. Nel cortile interno principale si svolgono nel periodo estivo rappresentazioni musicali e teatrali.

The reason for The Bard in RGB (the basic additive colour model for photography in which red, green, and blue light are added together in various ways to reproduce a broad array of colours) will become clear with my first photograph tomorrow. In the meantime, instead of those stereoscopic view slides, imagine Shakespeare in a crazy 3D slide array.

Attended a workshop on photographing raptors at the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, GA. All the birds were captives and were not physically able to be returned to their natural habitats due to injuries
