That's me in the middle, not looking nearly as cool as the Bangles, who were on my flight to London. This was taken in the airport after a 10-hour flight in February 1985, on their first trip to London. My friends and I ended up seeing them play at the Marquee. This photo was taken with my disc camera, hence the rotten quality. Feb 10, 1985.

Pink knitting needles are my favourites, but are always so hard to find. My lovely partner gave me this pretty amazing one yesterday. I hoped the plastic would be OK to form into a bangle, and luckily it did!
I saw a picture of square bangles and thought "why don't I make a crocheted bangle like that?" So here's what I ended up with. It's fast to make I made this in just two hours.
Took this picture in a bangle shop in Jaipur. They had so many different colors and types that it was incredible.

My chic silver bangles are made of sterling silver using a crochet hook in a rare technique, its diameter is 2.7"(70mm).
It is great by itself, or even nicer with one or two" friends".

This sterling silver wired bangle features the gemstone Snow Quartz. Each featured section of the bangle sees a pair of snow quartz beads sitting on either side of a sterling silver laser cut bead. The sterling silver beads have "moon" shapes cut into the beads and the beads also have a high glitter effect. The three beads are then highlighted by the sterling silver wire which outlines them. The bangle is finished with a simple hook clasp.
This is a lovely icy looking bangle that, with its neutral colours, will go with just about anything.
