(Kannada: ಕಡಲೆಕಾಯಿ ಪರಿಶೆ), is an annual groundnut fair held in Bangalore. This two day fair is held near the Dodda Ganesha Temple in Basavanagudi.

I liked the viberent color of the bangles in the fair. Just amazing the art of plastic and glass...

I was pretty stumped as to how to display my bangles, so this is what I finally came up with. I'll probably make or buy something better when I have more money, but for now this is what I made. I made the "pillars" out of polymer clay. And the bar is made from a paper towel roll.

Let me know what you think!!

orange bangle, it looks yellow here tho. haha

Bangles, madreperla, vetro, mezzocristallo

Bangles are a ubiquitous fashion accessory in India, if not the word. These are a couple of guys who make them.

Bangle made from one of the weights on the threads in the loom we found on the roof of one of the Hans in Istanbul. The nail and washer also came from there and the quartz was bought in the Grand Bazaar!

Set with included quartz, black spinel and garnet.

These charming bangles are awesome worn alone or in pair.

Made of different shades of seed beads and memory wire (diameter = 5.2cm)

Memory wire is a kind of wire that always returns to its original circular shape when pulled out of shape. These gorgeous bangles will expand to fit most sizes whilst staying in a circular shape.

Leather bangle for biker.

Laad Bazaar is known for its bangle shops and there are hundred of them.

This is what happened when you show to the vendors that you might be interested in buying some bangles. At one point, there are so many different ones on the counter that you are totally confused. You have to start putting the ones you really like aside to create a more reasonable piles to choose from.

Found this as I was walking around commercial street, Bangalore, India.

Spring is in the air and the "The Bangles", of Cub Scout Pack 540 are spending time planting in the garden at the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank.

Linda Davies, Leader, her son was Reece, Joyce Stafford, and her son Alex as well as Liam and Ewan Thompson along with FAFB Master Gardener Lindsey Williams spent a few hours in the garden so others may eat. Way to go Scouts...!
