Polymerclay Bangle. Premo, fimo and even Cernit :)
Made as a gift for a leaving colleague. She likes bright-blue and grey....so that was a good challenge for me, because I never used blue before :)
Bangle set (flat bangles)
Polymerclay: premo
Colours: Neon-pink (really bright), transparant-olive-green and brown
One bangle with a circle pattern on both sides and one bangle with a skinnerblend on both sides.
Took this picture in a bangle shop in Jaipur. They had so many different colors and types that it was incredible.

Zara
Zara loved the Hina so much that she simply washed her hands with it..... and she loved the result and showed it to everybody with delightful pride.... that she did it herself this year -:)
The largest I've done so far. Tubular peyote spiral sewn together at the ends makes a completely self-supporting bangle to slip on your wrist.
Now where did I take this? It must be the Sarojini Market in Delhi. The glass bangles in so many colours make a good photo.
A detail shot of the Libertas bangle. The spines look deadly and they are deadly-- as deadly as a koosh ball.
(I am reminded of the Monty Python skit where the Spanish Inquisitors torment somebody by making them sit in the 'comfy chair'. They then poke the person with a cushion to no effect and Michael Palin asks the torturers if they are sure that all the stuffing is pushed up into the corner.)
For the Challenge of august: a Bangle!
Made from premo (polymerclay), it contains no metal, it is massive made from clay.
Mokume gane, I called it Ilsy Poppins, because the technique of mokume gane reminds me of the carpet-bag of Mary Poppins....everytime the comes a surprise :)
This bangle is made from scraps of a large flower cane made at the May meeting of the London Polymer Clay Group. Pictures of the original cane can be seen here: www.lpcg.co.uk/?p=1000

Fireglow cane was originally a kaleidoscope cane but I didn't like it. It succumbed to something like the Stroppel cane treatment.

Dedicated to the Goddess Parvati, commemorating her union with Lord Shiva, the festival is celebrated for marital bliss, well-being of spouse and children and purification of own body and soul.
The festival is a three-day-long celebration that combines sumptuous feasts as well as rigid fasting. A day before this festival is celebrated as Sinjara wherein girls/ladies put on mehandi on their hands.
