I think I must have used a waaaayy too stiff interfacing as my inner lining is too big and is peeping up at the top ecdge of the bag. However, this does not bother me at all, since I think the top-peeping is just lovely.

Lugging a Makerbot can be a bit of a juggle, what with all the other stuff I seem to have when on a mobile making mission.

I added a row of three pockets. My first had six and you could never find a thing.

One tote bag fully lined with pocket on front and initial 'F'. Also a small matching purse/tote bag. Both have red fabric with Winnie the Pooh design for front and handles whilst lining consists of red gingham.

The 'F' initial is machine appliqued and has been lightly stuffed to give substance.

Should hold Christmas pressies and be a great toy later!

Here's a sneak peek at the shopping bag I made for Raesha for the Bag Ladies Swap. I'm proud of myself - I actually finished this EARLY! I had a dozen different possible patterns, but I couldn't make myself start any of them - the fabrics weren't right, or the pattern didn't inspire me. I kept going online, searching for photos to inspire me, and I came across a photo that I thought would be perfect for this. I did a little figuring and adjusting, and I'm really happy with how it turned out - enough that I may have to make another one for me. I hope she likes it!

Back online at last after a lovely holiday followed by the dramas of one of the kids in hospital...but all is well!

I made this bag for a friend's birthday, using some of my linoprint fabrics.

I'm learning to sew! This is a work in progress. I still need to sew the strap, bag, and lining together. blogged here: creativeeveryday.com/creativeeveryday/2011/01/being-a-beg...
