so I absolutely love this lil biggie bag. Best part? it was like only a buck! It has everything i love....like my cable knitting needles that i dunno how to use so i use em to put my hair up in a bun, my palette knife for mixing foundation, and my blue cro-hook cause, well, you never know when ur gonna need to crochet. yeah. it's tru cause if y'all know me...i'd crochet anywhere...even in a dark movie theater. lol.
hummm, and as for my watercolor...well, it was a quick job, i'm not all that proud of it but at least i got it done?

7 Jun 2014 - Recessed zipper (Craftsy Design Your Own Handbag class). Size of bag is about 12 x 12 x 3
(Bonnie is a woman in my exercise class who one day mentioned she wanted a zippered bag for her water, wallet, and cellphone, strictly for the class. I wanted to experiment with some techniques I learned in the Craftsy class, so this is more or less a prototype of a larger bag (different fabrics and more pockets) I will make later. Bonnie thought a Patriotic theme might be something she would like, and I just happened to have a few leftovers from quilt tops I made some years ago for a church group. So, here we are!

This tote bag is reversable which means both sides can be usable.
I got this bag for Christmas, it's made of one big zip - the kids think it is hilarious to unzip it when I have stuff in it.

I found my old bag after my new one was stolen. i thougt it could use something new, so here's the result.
This bag is hand knit, using a double knit pattern for the areas showing two colors. It was inspired by the apple plastic bags from the Apple store. I love them because they are so very reusable. This is a closeup of the turtle image.

This is one of my wonderful grocery totes. It was made using a tutorial on craftster (search for singlet style bag). It was modeled after a Target bag. I did one other one modeled after a Kroger bag and it turned out a little too small because I forgot to leave seam allowances and because Kroger bags are smaller. Anyway, I love it! I think the baggers hate me, but I don't care. Oh, the first one of these I made was my first unsupervised sewing project. :)
This is my latest little sewing endevour... it's a little sack designed to hold those plastic grocery-bags that get totally out of control and stuffed under the kitchen sink...
