Pics of a neighborhood juvie Cooper's Hawk that terrorizes the neighbor (and the backyard) birds. Almost everyday, even though I don't see him (or her), I hear the local alarms going off (Blue Jays).

we have a nice little backyard, this is the left part of it. there's a clothesline and a bike shelter on the right.

Home Backyard. No Photoshop, just an unsharp mask. Taken with an iPhone 5 and Pro HDR, Photomatix Pro 4 was used to merge the two HDR images.

i was walking around our backyard -- trigger happy --- i don't know what, but i felt i had to look up.

 

i guess our papaya tree is jealous that all the squash and berries get all the attention.

Doing some land reclamation out back, and sod transplanting from the new vegetable garden. This will keep the kids playing in a safer spot than out front near the street. It also connects to our trail system in the woods, and we'll have plenty of space for archery in the future, too.

This is from my Dad's kitchen. It was taken in winter so it doesn't look beautiful but use your imagination and picture all of those trees with bright, fall colored leaves right now.

the backyard jungle is best enjoyed from above, though it's worth hacking ones way through to the barbeque now and then. Or at least sending someone else down there.
