The talent was very high at this session at Steamer Lane so it was a good time to snap off some late day action. My lens is giving me some incredible clarity and the auto-focus makes this simple and the keepers have been increasing as well. This guy seemed to be the main ripper out so i watched and waited for his backside gouges. The nose completely buried on this one and he finished with a 180 spin after the landing.

Look at the inside ankle and see where the first strap starts from the "wishbone". Why is this so off? It made the right boot fit way looser than the left. I know my feet are not this asymmetrical! - "custom fit" my eye.

For the Pentax Forums Single in January Challenge
I took a freezing cold walk around downtown on my lunch hour.
Some dude was pretty sure the camera I was holding up to my face was some sort of coffee cup and he tried to strike up a conversation with me about cappuccinos. It was really awkward when he realized it was a camera and I was 100% not interested. :-|

Dropping down from Muir Pass, the colors were getting deeper and the backside of Fiske is in the shade.
Voigtlander 21mm 1.8 Ultron VM

I'd have to say, after reviewing my lens choices for this trip, this and the 40mm f1.2 have been my favorite backpacking lens combo to date.
Whole series of linear gradient burns going on here. Also took the liberty to do a little color picking as well for balance. The sparkling green to turquoise of waves is a refreshing change.
