The first cluster of ideas for this project. At first I wanted to focus on some system that worked wit ha student's bike.
Called the Napsac, the concept is quite simple... you hug the backpack and that cushion on the top is where you rest your chin. The bag has a removable flexi-plexi-glass piece inside curved like a cane that supports the weight of your chin and head when you rest on it. Inside there is a compartment for your laptop and two pockets in the front. They had economy air travelers in mind when designing this.

Listed as a Cultural World Heritage site by UNESCO, Kathmandu Durbar Square is a cluster of ancient temples, palaces, courtyards and streets that date back to the 12th and 18th centuries. The square is known to be the social, religious and urban focal point of the Capital City.

We are spending a whole month backpacking our way around Vietnam, starting in Hanoi, visiting the street markets and meeting the people.
Then we are going on to the stunning Halong Bay where we will take a three-day cruise, followed by a crazy journey to Ninh Binh and the unique Tam Coc.
We will discover Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta and the hill-tribes of Sapa.

My first backpacking trip is done🙌 Steve and myself explored the Indian Heaven Wilderness in Gifford Pinchot National Forest in Washington, about two hour drive from Portland. We entered from the west via Forest Road 65 and the Thompson Lake Trailhead. About seven miles of one way hiking to our campsite at Bear Lake. The two night adventure featured: Through hikers (part of it involved the Pacific Crest Trail), alpine meadows, trees, lakes (there were A LOT), nudity, and of course lots and lots and lots of huckleberries! #backpacking #throughhike #indianheavenwilderness #giffordpinchotnationalforest
