A celebration of the Backbone Campaign's work with our friends and allies. Our 2015 Chocolatada took place soon after our Kayaktivist blockade of Shell's Polar Pioneer (aka Polar Plunderer) in Seattle and a few weeks prior to our efforts in Portland to blockade the Fennica, Shell's contracted icebreaker. Councilman Mike O'Brien spoke as did Fred Fellaman and a number of the key kayaktivist team members.

Art by Koen Setiawan was projected on locations around Montreal during COP15 (negotiations on biodiversity) The projections were executed by Backbone Campaign's Phil Ateto and Bill Moyer on behalf of Mighty Earth and its campaign to press President Xi to stop a dam project in Indonesia that threatens the survival of the recently discovered, unique Tapanuli Orangutans.
