Actually, not the back, it's the front. I didn't see too many veils like this. Taken in Deir ez Zuhr, Syria (near the Iraqi border.)

Back over to the Chillicothe Subdivision for a little action, and we were rewarded nicely...

A BNSF Q Train is about to cross Patterson Road in Joliet, IL with three BNSF GEVOs and an NS AC44C6M trailing.

No reference to this song by Ms Winehouse: www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1evzhSast8

Even though that's what sparked the idea for this picture.

After a very long time the first picture I posted on the day I shot it;)

Ice chunks scatter the surface of a frozen bay with derelict dock posts photographed at 35mm.

Looking the other way at Harris Road we see FP7's 504 and 502A on an Extra East in February 1979. The talk on the radio was that these were the only two engines available for this train. I didn't make us sad!

I finally found one of these little beauties!! It was an awful overcast day but at least I got a few shots!!

Not really pleased with the way these came out. I still like a few techniques in the figures, though.

On Wednesday 9/6/2021, 1513s (empty 1rail grain to Gladstone) is seen quietly departing Two Wells (SA) with G535-G533 in charge.

Been *way* too long since I was back in Texas. Good to be back "home". First time for the boys to make it back to the home of 1/2 their heritage as well, so a very important trip for them.

Non-HDR shot taken on Congress Bridge crossing Lake Austin on the downtown side at sunset (went there to watch the Austin Congress Bridge Bats). Would've been better to shoot this on the other side, but all the bats were on *this* side of the bridge :-(

It's sunsets like this that make me miss Texas that much more, as this is pretty much what you get every day here.

Austin, Texas.

Small spider in my garden . possibly a cross back.

Taken with my 100mm f2.8 macro lens.

The Sydney-bound XPT rumbles through the hills south of Glenapp, QLD, a long way from its home in Sydney.

Summiting Oldgrey Back is here! Pictured here with a few items I used on the trip. 50 pages of photos and some happenings from our adventure for you to dive into. The book is 6 by 8 inches and 100% recycled paper. They are $35 shipped, International orders will be a bit more. I'm not making any profit off these but still super stoked to get something physical into your hands! Email me at hello@camerongardner.com if you would like to order one!

Playing unfocus in action, driving my old Renault 4 (4L), back home at night. For the fun of telling a story.

So, we're watching this small group of the Mara pride we had been so lucky to spend time with. It began to rain, and our guide sitting in the front of the vehicle on the left (opposite of the cats) has this mental lapse and hops out of the vehicle to put the flaps down on the windows. We're all aghast and he quickly jumps back into the vehicle. Sure got the lions' attention. They were pretty laid back till then. You can see the drops coming down in this image even. They **did** join up with the rest of the pride and I can tell you - lions don't like rain either.
