Fresh out of the bath and wearing new shoes. How times have changed in the Fat-Bike world since I put this together in '06, although Surly still make a very similar bike.
Another cloudy day; perfect for a vampire who wanted to have a walk. Amadeo didn't have much trouble finding the girl either: she was still in the same park, sitting below the trees, just further from the place where they had met before.
And... she was wearing clothes of a completely different style.
Damn...
Great. Now he felt like an idiot for trying to match his outfit with hers.
She recognized him right away, though, and waved at him with a smile. Too late for turning back.
"Hello!" she chirped. "So happy you came again, hee hee... I knew you would!"
Amadeo blushed and scratched his head. No, he just didn't think she was pretty. Nope. Definitely not.
"I... it's not like I wanted to see you or anything! I just... sort of... need advices. That's all."
The girl giggled.
"That's fine with me. But first..." Suddenly she jumped on her feet... and poked him in the ribs. "You're it!"
Amadeo could only stare blankly as she took off running.
"Y-you've got to be kidding me!" he growled.
"Oh, come on!" She waved again. "One game? Please? That's all I want! I'll give you any advice you want right after!"
And she ran away again in a flurry of giggles.
Amadeo had no choice but to follow. Grumbling all the way.
It took him a good half-hour to corner her - for a mere human, she was as quick as lightning! And somewhere along the way... that stupid game stopped being so annoying to the young vampire. His laughter mixed up with hers, freely, as they ran here and there like hyperactive kids.
When he finally caught her, he was smiling widely, eyes sparkling with an excitement he hadn't felt in decades.
"So?" The girl leaned on a tree, watching his expression. "What was it that you wanted to ask me?"
"Oh." He had almost forgotten, after all that fun. He straightened himself, opened his mouth... and stopped right there.
The clouds were gone. The sun was shining all over the place now. One wrong move, and it would burn right trough his skin.
No way he could get back home like that. He was trapped...
"Oh no... Brother will be furious..."
And yet another part of Amadeo's story :)! It's getting less depressing, huh?
Back again to dancing.
I was over in Bishops Stortford doing lindyhop. Just the basic 6 count. Nice and easy, especially as I sort of know it.
I did end up helping to guide the newbies through it in the second half.
I also managed to have a call with friend. That's always nice to do when we get the chance.

This is actually a mid-calf skirt suit but the above the knee skirt looks sooooo much sexier. So, I actually have the skirt way up around my breast. I'm so glad it is not noticeable. Thanks to my wife for the loaner on the lovely white blouse.

computer got blown up weeks back now in a lightning strike that came up through the phone line and I have not been able to Flickr at all...for a while could not even get back in because I had not written down my user name and password and nearly got locked out...I have so many interwoven images on this sight I have been working on and developing for years, which I did not back up when I transferred computers (no one told me when you shut down a computer such sights as Picasa do not get set up with your old works when you re install it) ...I was nearly ready to give up...but I hung in there and got in through patience and stealth...but this time for weeks the Universe kept telling me to back up my most resent Picasa interwoven images which I did...so when the computer blew I was saved such heart break...now a lot wiser and more determined to forge ahead and publish my works before I drop dead and they all just disappear into cyber space for eternity...SO VERY GLAD TO BE BACK THOU...MISSED YOU ALL
