The P5 Rover is a series of large luxury Saloons and Coupes, designed by David Bache and first introduced in the form of a 3 litreSaloon in 1958. Powered by a 2995cc straight-6 IOE engine with an overhead intake valve and side exhaust valve, an unusual arrangement inherited from the Rover P4. and an output of 115bhp. An automatic transmission, overdrive on the manual, and Burman power steering were optional with overdrive becoming standard from May 1960. Originally designed with 11 inch Girling drum brake all rounds, but by the time of the 1959 Earls Court Motoshow launch discs had been fitted to the fronts, the rear retaining the original drums. The suspension was independent at the front using wishbones and torsion bars and at the rear had a live axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs.
In 1961 there was a minor restyle launched as the Mark 1A with added front quarter windows and modified engine mountings and Automatic transmission and hydrosteer variable ratio power steering became available as an option.
The Mark II followed in 1962 with a more powerful 129bhp engine and improved suspension. The wind deflector on top of the of the window openings was dropped in favour of quater lights. A 4 door Coupe was added range in Autumn 1962 (along the lines of an American Hardtop). And Hydrosteer now became available as standard.
A Mark III version was launched at the 1965 Earls Court Motorshow, with more luxurious trimmings, again available as a Saloon or Coupe, with the same engine as the Mark II but power increased to 134bhp Externally it could be distinguished by the full-length trim strip along the body and Mark III badging; internally it replaced the rear bench seat with two individually moulded rear seats, making it more comfortable to ride in for four occupants but less so for five.

Bache chaahe Muslimaan ke ho ya Hindu bhaiyon ke .. door door se aate hai patang kharidne and Chacha Chacha kahkar izzat dete hai | Humans of Mumbai
Its been 65 years that this kite shop has been established … difference then and now is that earlier there was not much business .. nowadays the business is good.
Only complaint is that people are tending towards and are more interested in other sports like Cricket and other activities like internet and mobile thn kite flying.
Many towers have come up which kind of not allow youngsters to have space and enjoy kite flying.
Makar Sankranti is being celebrated but then most of the schools have exams at this point of time which again is a hindrance to business and the kids dont get time even on this day to fly kite.
I have been felicitated and awarded in many countries during Kite festivals there especially i remember the love i received in USA in 1992 and in Switzerland in 1991 as I have been active kite flyer myself and have represented India many awards.
At 322 Market Street in Franklin Court is the restored office of The Philadelphia Aurora, sometimes referred to as the Aurora General Advertiser, a daily newspaper founded by Benjamin Franklin Bache. Bache, Benjamin Franklin's grandson, served as the editor from 1794 until his death in 1798. The newspaper was published through 1824.
322 Market Street also claims two famous connections--James Wilson, an editor of The Aurora, and grandfather to Woodrow Wilson, the 28th President of the United States, lived there; and Sarah Josepha Hale, editor of Godey's Lady's Book and author of "Mary Had a Little Lamb," worked there from 1837-1877.
Franklin Court cuts through an entire city block on the former site of Benjamin Franklin's home at 316-322 Market Street. Although razed in 1812, a "Ghost House" frame, built by Robert Venturi in 1976 for the Bicentennial, depicts the exact positions of the original 3-story house, 33 square-foot, ten-room house and adjacent print shop, while excavations underneath reveal the original foundations, privy pits, and wells. Six museums on the site, also built in 1976 for the Bicentennial, trace Franklin's life as a publisher, politician, postmaster, printer and inventor.

No publication date by Sampson Low, Marston & Co, London but first written in 1867.
This book was presented to Lily Bache by Moggill Methodist Sunday School in 1933.
Henrietta Matilda Jane Evans (née Congreve) (1827 – 1886) was an Australian novelist, who wrote under the pseudonym Maud Jean Franc.
Matilda was the elder daughter of Dr Henry Congreve and his wife Elizabeth Ann, née Jacob of Peckham, England. The family moved to South Australia in 1852, started a school at Mount Barker and on 16 February 1860 Matilda married the Rev. Ephraim Evans, a Baptist minister, who died 6 April 1863. In 1860 Mrs Evans opened a school at Angaston which was still in existence in 1868. She wrote her first story, Marian; or the light of Some One's Home while she was at Mount Barker and it appears to have been immediately successful. The British Museum catalogue records an edition published at Bath in 1860, a second edition was published by John Darton and Company in 1861, and another edition published by Sampson Low appeared in the same year.
Evans had chosen as a pseudonym Maud Jean Franc, but in her later books variations in the spelling of both Maud and Jean appeared. Her second book Vermont Vale came out in 1866 and during the next 19 years 13 other volumes were published. She died of peritonitis in 1886.

If you take the time, then you can see what is possible to see in one day in Switzerland in Europe.
With the bike over the S.usten - P.ass
On Saturday the 20th September 2008 was the S.ustenpass (From W.assen, C.anton of U.ri
to G.admen in C.anton B.erne) blocked for cars and m.otor .bikes.
So I used the opportunity to an old dream into reality, even in peace again on a high Alpine
pass with the bike to ride
It was beautifully quiet, many people exploit the opportunity. The weather showed his best
side, not too hot, not too cold, super views and always a little breeze.
And landscape is the area of the passport S.ustenpass something beautiful from what
Switzerland has to offer. High, s.nowcapped p.eaks, g.laciers, w.ild rock formations and
d.eep v.alleys.
On this occasion, a very big thanks to all (line item, p.olice, organizers, ...) to this day possible!
I hope there is once again the opportunity and I can really recommend to all, it is much easier
than you because of the altitude meter would suspect!

a à offrir.

These baches (the kiwi/NZ version of a basic holiday home - also called 'cribs' in some parts) are located right on the foreshore of Boulder Bay, on Banks Peninsula near Christchurch.
Baches at Lake Alexandrina day one of our trip around the South Island New Zealand March 3, 2013. We left Christchurch and it was really windy but not much rain. Within a few hours of us leaving it started raining was was described as a 'Once-in-a-century' storm. www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objecti...
Our house was safe and we didn't get any flooding.
The first night we stayed at Lake Tekapo it was very cold and here at Lake Alexandrina the wind was really blowing and would have been only 6c but no rain.
A bach (also called a crib in the southern half of the South Island) is a small, often very modest holiday home or beach house. Baches are an iconic part of New Zealand history and culture, especially in the middle of the 20th century, where they symbolized the beach holiday lifestyle that was becoming more accessible to the middle class.
"Bach" was [thought to be] originally short for bachelor pad, but actually they often tended to be a family holiday home. An alternative theory for the origination of the word is that bach is Welsh for small, although the pronunciation of this word is somewhat different. Baches began to gain popularity in the 1950s as roads improved and the increasing availability of cars allowed for middle-class beach holidays, often to the same beach every year. With yearly return trips being made, baches began to spring up in many family vacation spots. One humorous definition of a bach is "something you built yourself, on land you don't own, out of materials you borrowed or stole. For More Info: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bach_%28New_Zealand%29
Lake Alexandrina (Maori: Whakatukumoana) is a lake located in the Mackenzie Basin of New Zealand's South Island. It lies immediately to the west of the much larger Lake Tekapo and further to the east of Lake Pukaki, located to the north of Lake Tekapo township. It is a shallow lake with distinct indications of glacial origin and is spring fed with an outlet on its eastern shore mid way down the lake. The outlet feeds into a smaller lake, Lake MacGregor before feeding into Lake Tekapo described as “Opaque and milky blue” in colour. In the desert terrain of the Mackenzie Plains, Lake Alexandrina is considered as an “oasis of life”. Lake Alexandrina is a nature reserve and a delight to a fisherman, well documented for its brown and rainbow trout and salmon.
