Back from our trip to the UK now, got 100GB of pics and video (loads of tourist stuff :-) to wade through and had an excellent time. This was taken as we were driving through the Yorkshire Dales, there was an old Pub across the road from this shelter with the stream and that was prety much it for anything else around this spot. It was a bright day with some cloud so when it went a bit darker I managed a longer exposure with a 3 stop ND (ND now on its way down another stream to Buttermere Lake unfortunately :-(.
I think it sums up this region for me with the rock walls, buildings, streams\rivers etc.
Slowly catching up on the streams I have missed -some awesome pics from my contacts out there.
Ann looks awesome in her pink shiny shorts. Unfortunately such shorts are vintage and out of fashion nowadays. I wish one day they will return though; that would make me smile all summer.
I decided to make diamonds using applecyder's paper herringbone pattern... I started with the herringbone and maybe I just used to many colors... so I wasn't smitten... so I played around with the layout.... and I am in love... since this picture I have added an extra row... and a top and bottom border that I love... I just need to photograph it again tomorrow...
Gravity is so much a part of our daily lives that it is all too easy to forget its awesome power — but on a galactic scale, its power becomes both strikingly clear and visually stunning.

Here it is all together, I'm only missing 2 things, a plate from the kitchen (no big deal, have lots of them) and the chimney which kinda sucks T_T I'm sure I put it somewhere because I was afraid I was going to loose it. Well I did now lol..
The Yuma Crossing...I pulled off the road and was climbing a hill when I heard the familiar sound that a cop makes with his PA to get your attention. He said you can't park there and what are you doing. Showed him my camera and told him I wanted to get a pic of the bridge. He said OK, go ahead and escorted me up the hill. When I got done I thanked him more than once as the Chief of Police for the Quechan Indians said have a nice day!!!
