The Brothers' Towing Company. Desert climate is always nice to old beat up cars. These brothers have a very good eye; they seem to hold on to all interesting machines that pass through their hands. A considerable portion of these vehicles are special in some way, with several that I have never ever seen before.

Go ahead, ID them all!

First off, I apologize for the lack of content over the weekend. I had to take the ACT, go to a wedding, help at two church events, and I haven’t been feeling 100%. But, I’m back, and I’ve got some cool stuff to post.

So this is Firefly. The wings were originally on an OC villain that I will post soon, but I felt that they would look great on this guy. I threw together a flamethrower and boom! Firefly is complete.

I tried a new photo set-up with a white background, so let me know what y’all think about that. That’s all for now! Stay Awesome

-Totally Awesome

The general idea is this Asian Army tried to invade Sparta. The king (On horseback) and all his elitist warriors came and attacked first. They got slaughtered. The king’s horse got killed and the King got stabbed soon after. When all hope was lost the King’s second-in-command ordered all the archers to fire. What was left of the army found arrows raining down of them. The Spartans didn’t have a single casualty, but the ground in front of them was littered with arrow filled corpses. 3 weeks and 2 full up vultures (Credit goes to Legohaulic for the wicked design) later and the second-in-command leads the armies not-so-elite soldiers to their inevitable death.

Based off 300, but obviously I made this whole battle up. I know it’s not accurate; I used my imagination, I-M-A-G-I-N-A-T-I-O-N. So don’t go yelling at me ‘bout all that historical nonsense. I apologize for the crappy pictures/MOC, it’s my first time building a scene this big. It’s also my first historical MOC and it is 100% purist!

That's the final stage!

I love glaciers!!

Northwestern Glacier Kenai Fjords National Park Alaska.

Just back from a second visit to the awesome landscapes of Alaska. A day's boat trip from Seward into Kenai Fjords National Park. Wonderful wildlife and stunning coastal and mountain scenery. Everywhere we visited the impacts of warming temperatures were clear. This image of Northwestern Glacier calving shows a tiny part of its rapid retreat. I would love to visit all the US National Parks.......hopefully. Truly "America's Best Idea"

A stunning Wild Juvenile Sparrowhawk, taken on a recent trip to Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.

Back to Flickr! Having taken only few photos all this time and attempting some editing only just yesterday I figure out it will take me some time to get along with it. And there is no better way to start out than visiting fascinating photostreams of my old (and new) friends

I used 16 images to stack in Helicon Focus. A few soft areas on the mushrooms.

I just had an awesome birthday, and I got the most awesome birthday card at work. Can you guess which one it is? :D

Also, little sneaky look at a couple of the figures I'm working on at the moment! :D

Lake Ohau ,New Zealand ,loved this place , empty of people and good for a skinny dip :)

Western and Atlantic #12 aka The Texas, Lehigh Valley Coal Company #126 aka Sadie and finally Norfolk and Western 'J' Class #611. Taken on the weekend that the Texas was presented after it's cosmetic restoration at the NC Transportation Museum.

Mothla's glow-in-the-dark hair!

Just loved the light on the right wing. Not sure if it's a landing light or anti-collision light or what, but I like the effect at least.

The tulip fields again......I loved the look here.

This one, definitely deserves a price......so well maintained........

and the view............awesome!!

The (at that time) two tallest buildings in Shanghai in low ceiling, fast moving clouds.

From the obscured parts of the Jin Mao pinnacle it's easy to estimate that the cloud ceiling is at about 380m AGL in this photo, 2 low layers - the top of the SWFC is free.

During the photo shoot the ceiling changed rapidly, lowest was about 330m AGL with the pinnacle of Jin Mao completely obscured, and highest was about 500m AGL with the SWFC just free of the clouds.

Shot from Waima Road (外马路) in Puxi.

So I’ve been doing a lot of Awesome Verse Batman stuff, and I realized that I hadn’t done Joker yet. Joker is one of my favorite villains of all time, and is in two of my favorite movies: Batman (1989) and the Dark Knight.

My version of Joker is a classy crime boss with a few screws loose. He often talks to himself in his office about upcoming heist, possible plans, and bad jokes. Gotham is a failing and dying city, and he thinks it’s funny that he is the only one that sees it.

That’s all folks! Stay Awesome
