I was directed to Penrith-based A W Jenkinson when looking for UK liveries for this Scania T-Type cab and tipper combination. Whilst it's yet another white-based scheme, the graphics are rather nice and highly appropriate for the company's line of business. This is the final version of this particular base image, which was kindly provided by Martin Vonk (21-Mar-15).

The AW-221 is no sitting duck and is equipped with various countermeasures (electronic CM suite, chaff/flare launchers) as well as offensive weapons. It can be equipped with two forward-mounted belt-fed chain guns or viewport-mounted machine guns operated by the crew. Its sponsons have hardpoints which can hold either anti-tank or air defense missiles. As such, the AW-221 is not just able to insert troops but also provide air-support afterwards.
1985 Fry Street Fair folk. The camera is looking north towards the intersection of West Oak and Fry, with a beer truck and Fair goers in the background. The Sammy House would be to the left of the beer truck, and the Corkscrew to the right. Note the kids on the beer truck in the background.
Body painting and face painting at the 1985 Fry Street Fiar. You can find this shot in "The Fry Street Neighborhood" by Williams and Couture.
Armstrong Whitworth AW-650 Argosy 101 pure freighter G BEOZ on display at the East Midlands Aero Park Castle Donnington. Assembled and first flown from Bitteswell Leicestershire in 1960 and first delivered to US Riddle Airlines in Jan 1961 as N6502R. Subsequent US operaters of this freighter being Logair, Zantop & Universal Airlines. To Air Bridge Cargo UK in 1977 as G BEOZ, withdrawn from service in 1987 and arrived at the Air Park in the same year, displayed in the colours of Elan Air but operated by Air Bridge Cargo.
All Argosies were built in component form at Baginton Coventry and roaded to Bitteswell for assembly and flight testing before delivery, including the 56 military C.1s for the Royal Air Force, final production of the type was 74 in total.
Done! I replaced the wheels with those from an SH A17 because I was never gonna be able to paint the kit wheels and think these look better anyways.
Shot looking west down West Oak Street from the Square in Denton, Texas. On the left is the McClurkan Building (later Russell's Department Store), the Denton County National Bank Building (later MBank and the Denton Area Teacher's Credit Union), and beyond that the Carroll Courts Building at West Oak and Carroll. On the right is the Lawyer's Building (destroyed by fire in the 1990's) and the Campus Theater (1949). The Campus theater marquee says "Channel 2." That was evidently part of a TV special produced by Channel 13 (PBS) to launch another PBS station, using the Channel 2 (VHF) slot originally meant for one of the universities here. The slot was later sold to a religious broadcast network. With the advent of digital TV, Channel 13 has all the broadcast space it needs.
