I was playing Soul Knight today, and picked up the Cannibal Plant from the Devils Snare boss. Man, that thing is good.

All Stork variants can be equipped with additional external fuel tanks, which significantly boost their operational range, though they are most commonly seen on the special forces AW-221 due to its mission profile and increased weight and fuel consumption. It is also equipped with a an in-flight refueling probe.
Finally, a nice wholesome outside activity for the kids. Well, except for Oliver, but don't worry about him. He doesn't know how to work that thing anyway.
This lorikeet was so excited about the breadcrumbs I could practically touched him. I'm close enough that I could capture him with a 35mm lens and still get bokeh.
Fry Street bar scene, but I can't remember where. At some point in the future, some historian will be surprised to note that TV sets of the era had square tubes, instead of the rectangular screens we have today. Note the rack of munchies in the back. The taps at right are for Budweiser draws, and Busweiser seems to dominate the bar. This shot always reminds me of that song from THE UNSINKABLE MOLLY BROWN by Meredith Wilson: "Belly up! Belly up to the bar, boys! Let your money be seen! Never drink 'cept when it's day or night, or somewhere in between!"
What is particularly nice about the United States that despite the absolute abundance of standard commercial airliners operating each day, it is not hard to find examples in eye-catching colours schemes, especially either logo-jet or retro-jet variants.
American Airlines have a nice sizeable collection of aircraft that carry retro-jet colours, something that was inherited from the pre-merger US Airways counterpart who chose a select number of Airbus A319s to carry colour schemes of their predecessors; this was a policy since inherited by American Airlines since merger who have repainted Boeing 737-800s in their own respective predecessor colours.
On the final day of Los Angeles, a lot of the action began getting interesting towards the evening; with N838AW making an appearance having arrived from the former TWA hub at St. Louis, Missouri. The airframe carries the last livery of America West, an airline that requires a little more explanation than most...
America West was founded back in 1981 following the advent of the Airline Deregulation Act of 1978; the airline commenced operations in 1983 with an operating base from Phoenix-Sky Harbor where it rapidly grew its operations. The 1990s were turbulent when the carrier announced Chapter 11 bankruptcy which lasted between 1991 to 1994, and at the same time began acquiring more modern fleets of Airbus A319/A320 aircraft to replace the ageing Boeing 737-200 fleet.
By 2004, America West were in discussions with US Airways to merge their operations which would later be agreed by 2005... At the time, US Airways were in the midst of their own Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The merger would on paper see America West take-over US Airways but the reverse actually happened... Instead America West would merge with US Airways, with the latter ultimately being the surviving brand.
America West merged with US Airways in mid-2005; the America West brand would disappear in favour of a new livery by US Airways which would be their last colour scheme before their effective demise from the merger with American Airlines. The 2 airlines merger was effectively completed in 2007 when US Airways was granted a single operating certificate with the merged American West, and lastly the US Airways callsign changed from US Air to Cactus (America West's old callsign) by 2008.
Of course, America West is one of the heritage jets that was included as tradition by US Airways to honour their heritage, and has consistently been the same aircraft when delivered new almost 18 years ago.
Currently, American Airlines operates 469 Airbus A320 family aircraft, which includes 133 Airbus A319s, 48 Airbus A320s, 218 Airbus A321s and 70 Airbus A321neos. American Airlines have 50 Airbus A321XLRs on-order.
November Eight Three Eight Alpha Whiskey is one of 133 Airbus A319s operated by American Airlines, delivered new to US Airways on lease from SALE (later BOC from July 2007 then GKL from December 2011) on 17th November 2005 before transferring to American Airlines on 9th December 2013 upon their merger, now fully owned by the carrier since June 2022 and she is powered by 2 International AeroEngines IAE V2524-A5 engines. She has carried America West retro-jet colours since new.
Airbus A319-132 N838AW slows on Runway 25L at Los Angeles (LAX), California on AA2473 from St. Louis-Lambert (STL), Missouri.
The AW-221 has a crew of 2-6 people, depending on the mission and has room for 8 Minifigs without equipment.
I seem to be in a mood to show reprocessed older photos lately. This is/was my BiL and his DiL shucking corn for a family do at the cottage.

This young lady is waiting for someone to hit the lever mechanism with a baseball, so that she will be dunked into a tank of water. Judging from her wet t-shirt over her bikini, she's already been dunked. That's devotion! The weather wasn't as warm as you'd think, and a lot of guys were waiting for her to drop--at least one of them (me) with a camera.
