Dorm Row demolition at Texas Woman's University. This was taken with a telephoto lens. The dorms of Dorm Row were, going from east to west--Fitzgerald (sophomore) Houston (sophomore), Austin (freshman), Sayers (freshman), Lowry (freshman), and Capps (freshman) at the corner of Oakland and North Locust. Check the Daedalian (the TWU annual) for more shots and information on Dorm Row. I believe that this is Capps getting the wrecking ball in this shot. If I remember correctly, the bricks were recycled for the Blagg Library, on the former site of Fitzgerald Hall.

You can find this photo from the 1982 Fry Street Fair in "The Fry Street Neighborhood" by Williams and Couture.

Dorm Row demolition at Texas Woman's Universtiy. Stark and Guinn Halls are visible in the background. Oakland Avenue can be seen in the foreground, and it follows the path of an old trolley route. I believe that Capps is on the left, and Lowry on the right.

This was my first shoot with the lovely MJ - what a sweet, lithe, fun and sharp young lady. Amanda and I shared her for a bit and we gave her a workout on Ron's bike. All in all a fun shoot and I look to more shoots with MJ.I took these photos at the Caldwell Train Depot back in March 2020 before Stay at Home kicked in.

I cannot remember this beautiful lady's name, but she was one of the most delightful and charming of the Fry Street people. Who could forget that smile?.

A friendlier, gentler Green Giant and he appears to be in love with corn shucks.

This 1985 photo shows workers on the central dome of the old Denton County Courthouse in Denton, Texas. I believe that I took this shot with a 500 mm lens and a Nikon-F camera, one of the greatest 35 mm SLR's (single lens reflex--what you see is what you get).
