For the first time in, like, months, I'm not uploading something after a three week break! I hope to add more pictures now that the weather is better and school has kind of slowed down.

This picture was kind of risky to shoot, because the forsythia you can see in the background is in my neighbours garden, and since my idea for the photo included Avery sitting on the top of the fence I had to take it while standing on a stool >.< It was especially hard because there was a strong wind... I'm glad I chose Avery for this photoshoot, because her hair doesn't tangle so much.

Avery and I have a ridiculous number of mutual friends but had never met prior to yesterday. She is currently living in NYC, working as an actress, and had contacted me a while back about doing new headshots when she came home to visit. We had a total blast together...we're practically best friends already ;) We did a majority of the shooting at the house she was staying at, while also venturing outdoors for a little bit...and subsequently getting locked in an alley/parking lot. Anyway, she's working on a bunch of exciting projects at the moment, and I wish her all the luck in the world because she is amazing!!

I'm really proud of the photos from yesterday. I honestly think this might be one of the most genuinely PRETTY photos I have ever taken. No intense hair/makeup, no super trendy wardrobe, no exciting background/sunflares/etc - just a gorgeous girl with a perfect expression. Avery has never had headshots that truly capture just how beautiful she is, and I am so glad we got to work together yesterday :)

Avery is an actress from Minnesota, currently living in NYC. I did headshots for her at the end of March (see here), but she needed new ones already due to her change in hair color.
