It was a bet if I would eat this avacado which has been forgotten in a backpack in bedroom for about a week. It appeared like a charcoal. and the facebook dope heads voted me to eat it. and I did. it was prefect fine inside. really.
San Jose, San Juan Province, Dominican Republic.
Isabel de la Santos, who goes by "Lola," is 70 years old.
Here, she holds an avacado grown in her yard. The people of San Jose subsist primarily on farming.
She was born in San Jose and has lived there her whole life.
"I'm obligated to live here because my family lives here," she said.
She raised 7 children and has more than 20 grandchildren, more than she and Flor, her husband of 52 years, could recall.
She enjoys living in San Jose and said her favorite thing to do is manual labor.
The side, in this case, was roasted corn, shaved off the cob and joined with roasted cherry tomatoes, diced red onion bathed in apple cider vinegar, diced avacado, chopped basil and warm goat cheese.
The main...A basic thick-cut pork chop bone in, basted in a Mandarin Orange Teriaki Sauce from Napa Valley Products.

Despite being alergic to Avacado's Mel made some delicious Guacamole for New Years eve.
Sadly, we ran out of chips before the mix. Less sadly, it was an option to eat with a spoon.
Mango avacado salad with cilantro and red onion and lime/sesame vinagrette.
what did i learn? cutting the mango and onion was a mistake. Too big a blotch of bright colour and made it too hard to expose properly or have a photo that wasn't overpowered by one or the other or both of them.
Oh, and I also learned this is extremely yummy.
7 Eleven Convenience Store located at Venice Blvd. and Sepulveda Blvd. in West Los Angeles, California. Was one of two 7 Eleven Stores that became a KWIK Mart for the 2007 Simpson's Movie. The facade is currently being renovated. One of xx photos of this site. This 7 Eleven is next to a strip mall that also contains Baskin Robbins Ice Cream Store and Howard's Avacado Burgers.
from Busboys & Poets in Washington, DC. It's where all the hip kids get their avocado sandwiches.
OK, busboys and poets, I see you using this on your website with no credit given! What's up with that?
A platter of food I created for guests. In this version of my photo I enhanced the original using Photoshop plug-in filter "Fractalius" to a minimal effect. Another shot of the same platter of food (straight out of the camera) is shown below in the comments section.
An amazing salad we had for dinner. Bayless' recipe called for bacon, but we didn't have any so I crisped up some chorizo. We also added a chicken breast to beef up the meal a bit. It was amazing! (Recipe from Mexican Everyday by Rick Bayless, p. 96)
Stuffed Jalapenos, abd Stuffed Avacado. I marinated chicken and I sauteed mushrooms and onions and garlic and gourmet italian sausage stuffed with artichokes and mozzarella and garlic and made a safron and curry rice to go in the peppers. It was out of this world !!! The idea for stuffed Jalapenos came from Miss Racheal: www.flickr.com/photos/mrsfield/2641492002/
Thanks !!
