7 Eleven Convenience Store located at Venice Blvd. and Sepulveda Blvd. in West Los Angeles, California. Was one of two 7 Eleven Stores that became a KWIK Mart for the 2007 Simpson's Movie. The facade is currently being renovated. One of xx photos of this site. This 7 Eleven is next to a strip mall that also contains Baskin Robbins Ice Cream Store and Howard's Avacado Burgers.

I "Remember When" my memory was really good, did'nt need a grocery list. Well things change.

I noticed last week there were several people using grocery list. Now for a quick stop I make a word

from the first letter of each item. Like the list above is "CAME "

apple, avacado, young herb. One Aldwych Hotel. Christmas 2013. London, England.

Day 304 - Bizarre combination = super tasty. Wifey was up to trying new things today, and she added gaucamole to her pizza today, I am happy to say it was very tasty. But before I get into more pizza talk, the battery on wifeys mac book seems to have died again.

After work today, we headed off to the WEM apple store to get it replaced. For the second time in a little over a year for the same issue with the battery that is essentially bulging out like it was ready to explode. I m gonna say the tech who helped us out was absolutely USELESS. I wish that apple sent me a survey after the service so I can chew the guy out. Every question we asked him essentially ended up with him laughing at the question and really being a jerk about it. So we asked to have the battery replaced, and guess why it was not covered, so it was 110 bucks, we debated if it was better to just get a new mac book, I was ready to dish out the cash, but it seems the guy was unsuper helpful and just slammed the new battery in as we were asking him more and more questions.

Seriously this guy was useless in my mind, and I only wish I could fill in a customer satisfaction survey, anyways that is enough of that, moving on.

Sam Gagner, WTF man, hahaha 8 point night last night against chicago, I missed the last period of the game because I went to floor hockey, damn I wish I did watch it, oh well the highlights were good enough, the best was when he got the last assist to tie the great ones record, everyone went over to celebrate with gagner, the assist, and not with the goal score eberle.

Guess I did not talk about pizza, and I am getting tired of typing, so here it goes, it was super tasty, very good combination, and the combination of flavours worked well.

This bento contains:

Prawn nigiri, 3 for me 4 for the creature. I had meant to make cucumber roles too but I didn't make enough rice, so I hid cucumber in the nigiri.

Avacado covered in lemon juice ,for me only

Raw carrots and peppers in nice shapes. Again for me only.

Not shown: Cucumber sticks and a satsuma, for the infinatley unadventurous creature.

I could eat this lunch er'day!! Fresh spinach topped with bacon, red pepper, cotija cheese, scallions, avocado, homemade sweet cajun dressing & grilled cajun shrimp....#deliciousness!!

Back to my avacado and egg white wrap from Rice. Yum.

WIT: It seems like there are a lot of food photos this week, so I'm jumping on the bandwagon here. Maybe I'll come up with something more creative for a second submission, but we'll see. This photo was taken with my 50mm prime lens. I adjusted white balance and cropped in photoshop. I also tried to clone out some of the extra avacado goo on the cutting board -- I know I didn't get it all, so hopefully it's not distracting or anything.

a picnic in Dolores Park

Yesterday, I found a simple recipe for avacado smoothies online (here!) and copied it down, but didn't have time to make it.

HOWEVER...my mom saw it and decided to surprise me while I was mid-work, which was super nice since I would have probably chopped a few fingers off with the blender anyhow :).

Late upload again, sorry!

Grindelwald - street party and Avacado Bar

Yep, that is Avacado and Cheese on toast, what more could you want for breakfast.

Got home late, have to get packed for a trip to the West Coast tomorrow. Still, enough time for a tasty dinner.

Fired up the grill, painted some salmon with olive oil and tossed on some cracked black pepper and sea salt. Fish goes on grill.

Opened up a bag of roasted potatoes, spread out a sheet of aluminum foil on the grill. Potatoes go on grill.

Quick sliced an avacado and made are really chunky form of guacamole to spoon over the grilled fish. Don't forget the cilantro.

Viola! Dinner ready in about 25 minutes and enjoyed under a cool NJ evening....all done with a little JerseyStyleā„¢.

The theme for the June Strobist: Austin Photo of the Month contest is Food. Any Austin Strobist group member can enter (you should actually live near Austin to actually win the contest).

To enter, post your medium link from the "All Sizes" option in the Official June Photo of the Month thread. Submission deadline will be June 25th at midnight central standard time. The time you post to the forum counts as submission time. No editing of posts after the cutoff time or your submission won't count. All photos must be "Strobist" meaning you must use at least one off camera flash and you must post your lighting details. All photos must have at least one edible food item in them as the main focus of the photo. 1 submission per month.

Please post in your submission:

1. medium sized photo in the thread itself (taken from "all sizes")

2. title of the photo

3. lighting details in your image description or in the thread

For fairness sake lets say that you can use a maximum number of 2 lights in the shot so that the "pros" can't use all of their fancy equipment to get an unfair advantage :). Photos must have been taken in the month of June (before the cutoff date).

Voting will start on June 26th and end on June 30th at midnight CST by posting in the thread what photos you want to vote for (up to 2 votes). Any member of the Austin: Strobist group may vote and any votes placed before the voting start date or after the voting cutoff date won't be counted. If you change your vote after the cutoff date your vote be null and void. Also, you can't vote for yourself. If you vote twice, it has to be for 2 separate photos.

Those are the rules... good luck to everyone!

Keep your coffee mug all wrapped up with this warm, and comfy cozy. Not only will your mug appreciate the homey touch, but your hands will as well! It will protect them from your HOT HOT coffee or tea, while helping to keep your drink warm.

Crocheted in 100% cotton, it works wonderully to absorb any spills or drips over the sides and washes up super easily! This particular cozy is made in a warm rich Avacado color, and attaches with a wooden button.
