The Automat 4 was made between 1951-1954 and according to this list(www.schneideroptics.com/info/age_of_lenses/) the lens was made around 1953. So that must be the year of birth for my camera. The serial no. agrees: 12964xx.
I bought this one for $53. It had not been used for a long time and was grubby, but working. I've cleaned it as much as it has been possible, but it could use new leatherette.
Fujicolor 160 S NSP 120 Rollfilm.
From a bunch of film rolls bought in a photoshop in Cochem (D) while on holiday.
Just went into the shop and asked the owner if he had some 120 rollfilm for the Rolleiflex Automat dangling from my neck.
To my surprise he still had and after a nice chat about film and showing me an aluminium case with his Mamiya 645 + lenses (which he sometimes used for hobby) he sold me his remaining 120 film stock for a very nice price :-)
