やり方は右上隅と左下隅、または左上隅と右下隅のように
画面の対角2カ所を同時にタップ&ホールド。
で、デバイスから直接ファイルを見に行く方法はないので
USBを使って母艦にマウントするとルートディレクトリに転がってます。
ちなみにPaperwhiteはマスストレージモードとして完全に振舞うので
PCやMacだけでなく、Chromebookでもルートディレクトリが覗けます。

ちなみにブラウザ機能ですが
3Gで接続できるのはアマゾン日本、アマゾン米国、Wikipediaだけっぽい。
これ以外のサイトへの接続はWiFi経由となるみたいですよ。
