Seen at the Australia vs New Zealand One Day Cricket International at Sydney, Sunday 21st January 2007. I just love the old Members' Pavilion (built 1886) on the other side of the ground, a remnant of the gentle age of the sport...

Santa on a ute! This Santa was doing the rounds of our neighbourhood, handing out gifts to the kiddies.

Posing so nicely on the edge of a garden water feature was this smallish female Purple Oak-blue butterfly, Arhopala centaurus asopus, seen on a recent stay near Katherine in Australia's Top End.
