Hubby was nice enough to drive the long way back from the shops so I could get this shop. Such an understanding man!
I did manage to get out of the car for this one, though.
Gutted my car broke down on the way over to Santa Pod Friday lunch time then unfortunately the Aussie Outlaw put a hole through a piston in the evening on a 6.7 second pass so I never actually saw the car run.
The car and team have been visiting from Australia having had lots of help from a crown funder and the Banshee Racing team. This was the first Outlaw Anglia to run a 6 second pass and they added a few more 6 second runs while visiting Santa Pod including a quickest ever side by side with Colin Millar also running a 6 at Summer Nationals.
Thank you to everyone who made this trip possible and wish the team a safe trip home.
I love daylilies! I think they are my favorite flower. This summer I finally have a macro lens, and I spent some time the other day taking macros of my daylilies. I will be editing and uploading some of them as I have time. This is one of my hybrids namesd “Aussie” The color doesn’t photograph well, but is a really pretty pale apricot with a very pleaseant fragrance.
