Made with Adobe PSE 2021 and Pixlr.

You know summer is winding down when you see the Canada Geese taking flight in the late of August.

Beautiful calm sunset with amazing atmosphere.

This month I shall be combining a piece of "mainly" British Folk Music with an Image "Stolen" from the Street, or a Museum. or some other "Godforsaken" place.!

Most of the music dates back to the 1970s, some is well know, some is not well know and some is downright weird.!!!!!!!!

This is purely an indulgence, on my part of course, but during this exercise I discovered some great stuff my Grandfather had forgot to tell me about.

ALL the music and all the videos are taken from YOUTUBE.

I will also include a WIKI Bio of the Artists.....History is such an interesting and sad thing...........

Hope you like this little "August Frippery"

After the heat in June and July the month August is quite fresh with rain.

Here in Texas, the sun keeps shining even when it rains. I cropped this so a peek at it larger will get you wet.

July and August have been dominated by overcast skies and cloud obscuring the sun at sunset, though last night saw a reverse of circumstances and we had a lovely sunset, here's just one image

I am very fortunate living next to the River Trent as whenever there is some interesting light I can just nip out with my camera without having to do loads of forward planning. Misty conditions will always have me legging it across the Beeston Weirfields to find that elusive composition. Luckily this composition was not quite so elusive, but it was not planned either. I just chanced across it as I was walking along and I will probably never take a photograph from this spot ever again!

the northern lights are back again. On this pic the aurora makes a beautiful swirl just over Tromsdalstinden ( 1238m ) and the city.

Been a bit tired, more parts are aching, and until today, it was too hot and humid. Signed, a grumpy old lady and her grumpy old cat.😻

und es wirkt schon so herbstlich

The old receding road shot. Again.

A quick shot trying to master 'subtle' with the filter system. Not quite what I had in mind, but I still like the way it turned out.

Hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.
