Manipulated negative scan (I drew on the neg and scratched it too). Run Baby Run is a song by the Newbeats that I like at the moment. The skip sums up the place it was taken in. Note that orange pen on a negative makes blue letters on a positive.
so delayed trains meant I didn't have time for my usual walk through the city to work and hence I am reduced to the 'what can I see from my desk' view far earlier than I would have hoped.
The only plus point is that this isn't actually my desk but a colleagues that I am temporarily borrowing and her desk is, joy of joys, by one of the VERY few windows in our office. It's so nice to be able to see the sky!
I saw this woman working at a historical spinning mill in Howick Historical Village during its open day. So I took out my only available camera, a compact one, with the battery indicator already flashing and took the only photo at 1/10 th of a second hand held. There is no camera shake protection.
Rust left from a metal garbage can left out at a park. This stuff is all over in crazy patterns made from the can.
The contrast and levels have been adjusted here, I just liked the patterns I saw.

At work we had nothing to do--no stock to put up, no customers to help--so we were goofing around talking about an imaginary character named "Dr. Brandon" based on the ideas of our assistant manager Brandon. It was really hilarious.
