Half glazed, half unglazed, these earthenware water jars have remained unchanged in terms of production since the 11th century.

In Myanmar, the Myanmarese bury them in the ground to keep their water stocks cool. They are considered indispensable for the storage of fresh water.

I got to work Monday morning, dashed around back hoping to find some fog lingering over the lake. Instead, found this...

Hope your weekend kicks off in full colour :)

Sometimes when you are at work and having a break, enjoying a cup of tea, your mind drifts away a bite and then you look different at things.

Bee Macros, ICM and Back Ground Layers

My group is a mix of nationalities.

We train different things, all the time.

Today was a calm day. I appointed our Mexican colleague to drill sergeant.

Outdoors, of course.

We all did the Chupacabra field march.

I think he pulled our legs.

It was fun though.

Venezia - Ca'Rezzonico bridge

Morning meeting on an address known to just a few.

No heating, no wallpapers, no ventilation.

No coffee.

But I like it.

Makes the meeting short and effective.

This is the next picture of men loading the hay cart with bales - bales of the type I knew when I was a teenager: smaller, rectangular ones, of the type that a man or woman could lift and stack. That wouldn't be possible with the big round bales of today!

6:04 AM.

Absolutely no one is out and about but us.

We might look like carpenters, gardeners or hoodlums.

You will never know.

We´re here and rollin´.

The Southside looks better from above.

Jeremy is a local firewood guy who brought wood to my house for two seasons. As Stella watches on, he is pictured here tossing a mixed cord of cedar and piñon from his truck into my side yard.

My job takes me to interesting places.

However, I like stairs and elevators. Quite alot actually.

But sometimes, you can just not walk into a house from the street and take the elevator to the top.

Sometimes you have to be more like a prank present. A surprise.

I like that.

The fishermen, having plenty to do keeping the herring in the seine net, took no notice of these giants frolicking close by.

i'll just eat it!!

The boss's dog, Millie, is a habitual fetcher. She expects praise and adoration as a reward for running around with strange things in her mouth. Kinda weird.
