I stayed in for lunch today to catch up on some emails. . . after being off for 12 days, I had a gazillion of emails especially those in my junk mails. I still had to go through each one because there are some "important" ones that somehow get filtered into my junk mail? Well, today's lunch was from La Burrita's. The box it was in started leaking so I had to put the tacos on a paper napkin. So, when is our next holiday? Oh I know . . . Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 19th?

After work at Rhodes island

This is the "school picture" I mentioned last week. Not bad for a 90 second session. I can live with this one. All this 365-ing has helped me take a decent photo on command.

It helps that the office has a decent camera (Nikon D60) and lens (Nikkor 18-200 VR -- of course I checked it out!), as well as professional grade lighting and backdrop.

Co-worker, fellow programmer, illustrating how they handle the cold in her native Russia...

There's a first for everything.

Hmmm... usually I do pretty good with the short sleeve sweater over long sleeve shirt look. Not so much today, I fear.

I'm also still learning my new camera. I think I have only myself to blame for my sweater looking phosphorescent.

this is the unveiling of co-worker hawk's new book. he published a collection of his drawings and will sell them at his upcoming convention 'applegeeks' participates in. can't you tell we're so proud of him??

I (and the floor at work) wish everyone who celebrates the holiday of red and green (Yule, Christmas, whatever) a happy holiday! ;)

at my new job, in the backroom.

I'm fat already, but this microwave makes me look even wider... like a funhouse mirror! :)

The women's section is finally done. It took me for-EV-er. This is what it looked like partially done.
