This man is returning home from forest, near the river Balason, Siliguri....
At home, not so much. My house is an extremely organized chaotic entity at the moment. We put our house on the market today, and with the effort exhausted to stage the house for photographs and prospective buyers, it's now just a house and no longer a home. But work is work, and that, I understand.
Yup, so this is the view from my desk.
If I turn around I can look at the wall of the Winspear, if I look straight ahead I see the tiny kitchenette and photocopy room. The kitchenette has paper towel dispenser, a sink, and the world's oldest microwave. One of my coworkers is always heating up the most fragrant meals. He usually eats his lunch around 11:40, well ahead of everyone else in the office. Of course it makes me really hungry. The photocopier is also one of the world's oldest and is constantly jamming and makes horrible groaning noises as if it is somehow perturbed by the fact that people want to use it to photocopy something. We'll be moving from this office sometime soon though. This won't be my office anymore.
I look weird and awkward! But here I am, in the spooky staircase. See, I lived to tell the tale!
Taken on the same day as the rest of 'em.
This is a fairly lame photo for the first photo I took with my new camera, but I was at work, ok? This is my collection of nicknacks on my windowsil... From the left:
Tsunade
Maes Huges
Chocolate coin
Shikamaru
Blue stone with word "balance"

Goodbye again. I feel like I've been gone alot.
I'm leaving for a two week research cruise. I'll have email access, but no Flickr :( I will miss you all and be back Sept. 12th.
Bon Voyage!
Have I ever mentioned my enduring love for stationery?
In this picture, you can see three of my top favourite items:
- paper clips (the round metal ones)
- post-its
- sharpie (black marker pen)
Trying out the testers of Aubrey Organics Natural Lips Kit. This color, once it was on properly, really made my eyes stand out!
My middle school students and I are beginning to step into the realms of film-making. One of them wants to do a stop-motion animation. I had no idea how long it was going to take, so I tried. The result is quite funny...and completely do-able for a school project. Bring on the cameras!
It's about 5 seconds tooo long, but that's okay because all that happens is "The End" comes into frame. Oh well, can't get them all right the first time around.
