I had a migraine attack yesterday, I am lucky in that I don't get headaches, but vision blurring with flashing lights and so on. So when I feel that my eyes can't focus on a computer screen, after laying down for a while in the dark, a walk outside always helps.

So it was I walked from home, along the track then up to Collingwood before along and taking the lane to Windy Ridge, along the edge of the wood and back.

I saw nothing really in bloom, other than some violets and planted daffodils, no butterflies, but a walk is never wasted.

All was going well until I stood on a bit of maythorn, and the thorn went through the sole of my shoe and into my foot. I thought I had been stung.

Shoe off, torn out, and back to walking back home.
