I know, I know, you're wondering too -- what woman applies eyeliner to her boobs? Well, what if "she" isn't a woman? What if "she" is a member of the all-male cast of Harvard's Hasty Pudding theatrical society? Dressed as an atomic cowgirl -- gun on hip, cowboy hat, atomic symbols galore -- "she" was on the street in Harvard Square, Cambridge.
Atomic City is a small hole in the wall outside of the Idaho National Labs. Theoretically it has inhabitants, we saw none.
Bombardier Thomas Ferebee would have used the Norden Bombsight here to aim the first atomic bomb at the T-Bridge in downtown Hiroshima.

Designed and handcrafted in my studio, the pieces are secured to an adjustable metal ring base.
Design measures 24mm
The ring will fit just about any finger (4-10.5) Neat. They're constructed with a great brand of adjustable ring bases.
This was the closest standing structure to survive the atomic bomb blast in Hiroshima, about 200 metres from the hypocenter. It has been preserved to look just as it did in 1945.

Fellow flickrite steve_cx plays guitar in "The Atomic Rays". Here they are in action at the Cat & Wheel on Cheltenham Road in Bristol on Friday night. Poor light and a crush of people dancing at the front made photography tricky, but the music made up for that.
