A dense column of smoke rises more than 60,000 feet into the air over the Japanese port of Nagasaki, the result of an atomic bomb, the second ever used in warfare, dropped on the industrial center August 8, 1945, from a U.S. B-29 Superfortress.
The Atomic Phaser was a simple, plain Jane ray gun for the the masses. It was intended for general use like shooting varmits while travelling through the woods or the sage brush. It was an essential part of life in the late 1800''s.
Because I chose a naturally off-balance pose, the gun and his arm are now counterweights to the rest of him. What that really means is that when his arm drops, the gun swings out and usually tears the arm off, then the rest falls backward.
