In the SEVENTIES today...SHORT sleeves needed...too warm for January! I think it is global warming here! I know that other places are freezing, well come here!
Fairs and rides have long been a favorite for me with all the colors and motion- really makes for some cool long exposures! This particular evening was extra special because there was a storm coming in, adding great character to the sky! I was really happy with this series. Very excited to share it with everyone in Explore!
Here is my album of similar shots- though I need to add some of this series to it!

A WB NS train passes 3 mile island near Harrisburg on its way up the former PRR Royalton Branch. The catenary pole is evidence of the Penney’s once mighty electrified corridor that ran on both sides of the river here. Once upon a time the Roy saw passenger and high priority truck trains, now NS on a good day will send 4 trains on this line as it bypasses the busy Enola yard.

Happy Slider Sunday!
Another take on my Christmas light trails. In a round about way, this is actually a selfie! I walked through the picture at least twice as I twirled the light string in a circular pattern.
Lots of sliding applied to colours for Slider Sunday.
On August 6, 1945, the first atomic bomb to be used in war exploded almost directly above the Hiroshima Prefectural Products Exhibition Hall, a place that showcased Hiroshima's industries and was also used for art exhibitions, fairs, and cultural events.
The explosion by a single bomb indiscriminately killed tens of thousands of people, profoundly disrupting and altering the lives of survivors. It's estimated that 12 km2 (4.7 sq mi) of the city were destroyed.
The dome was kept as a memorial and the city of Hiroshima was rebuilt around it. UNESCO named the A-Bomb Dome a World Heritage Site in 1996.
Just outside Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, you can cross the bridge to get to the A-bomb Dome. Visiting the Peace Memorial Park, Peace Memorial Museum and A-Bomb Dome was a profoundly moving experience.
Made the mad dash to Cape Kiwanda after work Saturday with hopes of a colorful sunset with amazing and unique clouds.... Once at the beach, it was apparent there was not a cloud insight! This beach always impresses me with the vast amount of photo opportunities..
