I used a water atomiser to create the these droplets misting the underside of a dandelion seed head.

It’s so hot at them moment I used the mister to cool down while taking the shots!

Backlit with an LED torch, around 10mm is size.

Noble nature, noble earth, noble sky, noble heaven.

We have lusted after you for so long that you can no longer resist our nature. Our nature has turned you into this. Your heavens are littered with our space trash; your mountains are covered with our climbing trash; your water creatures chock on our plastic and so it goes.

Here I have put an ancient greek mosaic of homer's hero from the Odessy broken and discolored beneath a broken and fossilized flower who's full summer beauty has been brutailzed man's unwillingness to let it be.

Pray unceasingly for the madness to stop.

Had the morning off and journeyed to the beautiful beach at Minsmere. Spotted this Wren singing away infront of the Sizewell B Nuclear Reactor dome.

A WB NS train passes 3 mile island near Harrisburg on its way up the former PRR Royalton Branch. The catenary pole is evidence of the Penney’s once mighty electrified corridor that ran on both sides of the river here. Once upon a time the Roy saw passenger and high priority truck trains, now NS on a good day will send 4 trains on this line as it bypasses the busy Enola yard.

Small, but beautiful.

Happy Slider Sunday!

Another take on my Christmas light trails. In a round about way, this is actually a selfie! I walked through the picture at least twice as I twirled the light string in a circular pattern.

Lots of sliding applied to colours for Slider Sunday.

On August 6, 1945, the first atomic bomb to be used in war exploded almost directly above the Hiroshima Prefectural Products Exhibition Hall, a place that showcased Hiroshima's industries and was also used for art exhibitions, fairs, and cultural events.

The explosion by a single bomb indiscriminately killed tens of thousands of people, profoundly disrupting and altering the lives of survivors. It's estimated that 12 km2 (4.7 sq mi) of the city were destroyed.

The dome was kept as a memorial and the city of Hiroshima was rebuilt around it. UNESCO named the A-Bomb Dome a World Heritage Site in 1996.

Just outside Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, you can cross the bridge to get to the A-bomb Dome. Visiting the Peace Memorial Park, Peace Memorial Museum and A-Bomb Dome was a profoundly moving experience.

For me this was the reason we came to Hiroshima

Sur une île du bout du monde, entre deux averses, un ciel... atomique !

An explosive sunset on the South coast provides a spectacular photographic opportunity. The tide swells and crashes against the rocks in the foreground, creating a tremendous noise!
