The all new Atomic Light System allows to do effects like a slide projections (gobo), cutin/cutout, control falloff & other effects. A snapshot of the UI, rendering and OpenGL view with a slide projector. Note that the volume cone has rounding controls smoothly fading from a circle to a square. The menu shows the full AtomKraft toolset as of v 0.9.0.
Iglesia de San Jorge de Palos de la Frontera. Es una obra de estilo gótico-mudéjar cuyo núcleo principal debió ser construido por los Condes de Miranda a mediados del siglo XV, muy probablemente sobre una edificación más antigua (siglo XIV). Dicho núcleo está constituido por un cuerpo de tres naves, mudéjares de arcos apuntados con alfiz, bien diferenciado de su cabecera gótica, en la cual sobresale la belleza de su bóveda de crucerÃa.Destaca el templo por la austeridad de sus fuertes estribos, la severidad de su puerta principal, construida en piedra, y sus almenados muros. Dando el conjunto cierta imagen de edificio militar. En cambio, la llamada Puerta de los Novios, por la que salieron los marinos para embarcarse en la madrugada del 3 de agosto de 1492, posee una primorosa labor en ladrillos de dos tonos que hace de ella un genuino y hermoso ejemplo de la pericia de sus artÃfices mudéjares.
El conjunto de la Iglesia no parece ser resultado de razones proyectuales, sino de una evolución azarosa, pues si bien conserva el cuerpo de un templo antiguo, su cabecera parece el inicio de lo que hubiera sido un suntuoso templo gótico tardÃo, de no haberse detenido las obras a comienzos del XVI. Un sÃntoma más de la decadencia de la villa palerma tras el Descubrimiento de América. Su campanario, de piramidal facetado, es obra ya de la segunda mitad del siglo XVIII, igual que la parte del Coro y la bóveda de una de las capillas, pues se construyeron para reparar los desperfectos originados por el Terremoto de Lisboa en 1755, por el maestro de obras del arzobispado Fernando Rosales.
En su interior destacan: una imagen en alabastro de Santa Ana del XV; la azulejerÃa que representa a los santos Getulio y Cereal, que el revela la influencia de los maestros italianos del XVII; los frescos de Santiago el Mayor en la batalla de Clavijo, San Jorge y la Coronación de la Virgen, de finales del XV; las imágenes polÃcromas de Santa Ana, obra de Hernando de Uceda (1561), y Cristo de la Sangre, de finales del siglo XVI, asà como el púlpito, importante muestra de la maestrÃa de los artesanos locales en rejerÃa, de la decimoséptima centuria. Jason Atomic replaces the tart cards he stole as reference for his paintings with miniature copies of those paintings in London's iconic red telephone boxes.
This is an image of pure gold, seen on the atomic scale... The step-like features are actually single layers of gold atoms. To the naked eye the surface looks mirror-flat, but in reality it's full of bumps and holes.
The image was taken using a Scanning Tunnelling Microscope.

This month I spent an entire weekend in Seattle dressed as a woman! It was great. I attended a show by the Seattle burlesque outfit the Atomic Bombshells, and here I am posing with one of the gorgeous ladies of the show. Go see them if you can!

Nuclear Fission Bomb
The Mark 7 "Thor," initially produced in 1952, was the first tactical nuclear bomb adopted by the US armed forces that could be carried by Air Force and Navy fighter aircraft. Although it was carried externally by fighters (F-84, F-100 and F-101), it could also be carried internally by bombers such as the B-57. Because of the lack of ground clearance when hung under a fighter, the Mk-7 had a lower fin that was stowed in a retracted position on the ground and was extended once the carrier fighter was in the air.
The Mark 7 was a capsule-type weapon with fissionable elements (uranium 235) stored in a separate container. The Mark 7 tactical nuclear weapon used a new delivery method, the Low Altitude Bombing System (LABS). With LABS, the pilot flies their aircraft toward an "initial point," then commences a "4G" climb, and releases the bomb at a designated point in the climb. By the time the bomb detonates, the pilot and aircraft are a safe distance away.
The Mark 7 warhead (W7) also formed the basis of the 30.5 inch BOAR rocket, the Mark 90 Betty nuclear depth charge, and MGM-5 Corporal and MGR-1 Honest John ballistic missiles. It was also supplied to Great Britain for delivery by Royal Air Force Canberra aircraft assigned to NATO in Germany.
The Mark 7 was deployed in more models and served for a greater length of time than any other atomic weapon in the U.S. arsenal. It was in service from 1952 to 1968 with 1700-1800 examples being built.
