"Ariel Motor Company Ltd is a low-volume performance motor vehicle manufacturing company in Crewkerne, in Somerset, England.
Founded by Simon Saunders in 1991 as Solocrest Ltd, the name was changed in 2001 to Ariel Motors, although the name change and company have nothing to do with the former Ariel Motorcycles firm. Ariel Motors is one of the UK's smallest automotive companies, with just 7 employees, producing fewer than 100 cars per year.
The company manufacturers the Ariel Atom, an extremely light, high performance car, powered by a Honda Civic Type-R engine and gearbox. The Atom is the world's first road-going exoskeletal car; it has no bodywork or roof, and is built entirely around the tube chassis, making it weigh less than 500 kg (1,102 lb). This means that the high performance supercharged model has a power-to-weight ratio of over 600 bhp (450 kW) per tonne."

It is stressful after having my previous photo explored, only because the expectations are much higher now. But I guess I should not worry about it too much, and I should just carry on doing what I love most: DAILY PHOTOS! :D
Thanks alot my lovely Flickrites! :)

View from inside the Atom, one of the 4 Panopticons. Pendle Hill is just visible through the left 2 windows.
The Atom was designed by Peter Meacock, Andrew Edmunds and Katarina Novomestska of Peter Meacock Projects. It was opened on 22 September 2006.
The structure is made from bronze-coated Glass Reinforced Concrete.
When it was first erected a polished steel ball mounted in the centre, reflected the stunning views back to the visitor, but in 2012 vandals hacked off the ball.

The Ariel Atom is a high performance sports car made by the Ariel Motor Company based in Somerset, England. The car is also manufactured under licence in the United States, originally by Brammo Motorsports, currently by TMI AutoTech Inc.
The Ariel Atom is unusual in that it is exoskeletal — the chassis is prominently visible from the outside — and therefore lacks a roof, windows and other features normally found on road cars.
sketch for an idea i had regarding some t-shirt prints, lol.
it's supposed to resemble a U-235 atom being split (by a hug) into Kr-92 and Ba-141, plus three free neutrons. i think it should be black (t-shirt color) with white and red print.
definitely needs more "energy" somehow, but i'm not sure how to draw this. the fission as well as the release of neutrons must look more "energetic" with some lines or whatever you draw to resemble release of energy and movement. of course, it also needs the proper number of nucleons, too... and it needs to be redone on the computer, drawing it from two unicolored areas instead of this pencil-like drawing. hmm.
If you're in Chicago and looking for some cool art tonight, come to the Flat Iron from 6-10pm. It's open studio night. My friend Atom is exhibiting. And I'm making archival prints of his work for sale.

I know.... it's Astro Boy in Hollywood movie but I remember watching this animation over 30 years ago. The animation title were Atom Boy not Astro Boy. :-)
Strobist Info: I had my Nikon SB-600 on a light stand. I used my strobe in manual mode as usual. I believe it was set at 1/4th power. Triggered with Nikon CLS from my Fuji. I really want a PW as I am getting tired of putting hand over my onboard flash. LOL
Have a great Tuesday!

This couple has driven their Ariel about 3000 miles and were on the homestretch. (Not a lot of room for luggage on this vehicle) I wasn't the only one interested while they were fueling up in Kanab, Utah
