Was amazed after staring out to the north and seeing some air glow drifting over the overlooked fog horn and the tail of the Milky Way.

In the village of Skourta i tried to capture mily way that was clear with a human eye it was trully above me, the photo maybe is not very good, but the xperience and the hapiness i had that time was very big! I hope this shot reflects this effort!

A little more than an hour worth of thirty-second exposures stacked.

LDN 1251 is a molecular cloud in the constellation Cepheus, located about 1,000 light-years away.

The nebula is part of the Cepheus Flare region and is also referred to as the "Rotten Fish Nebula"

In some reddish areas of the nebula, active star formation is taking place.

Despite the dark nature of the nebula, several background galaxies are visible in its vicinity, including UGC 12160 and LEDA.

In the lower left, there is a red carbon star resembling a red giant.

Not the best moon pic you have seen!

Taken With a Loaner P1000

Working with this gear was harder than i thought, especially after 2000mm.

The image on live screen is crystal clear when you look at it, but the the photo becomes blurry and shaky !

astrocamp.eu/en/messier-81-widefield-march-25/

In March 2025, I embarked on an astrophotography project focusing on Messier 81 and its neighboring galaxies. I captured the luminance data at the Hohen List observatory in the Eifel region, while the RGB channels were taken earlier from my home in Koblenz. Combining these, I achieved a total exposure time of 6 hours and 20 minutes. The resulting widefield image prominently features Messier 81 at the center, with Messier 82 to its left, the Garland Galaxy below, and NGC 2976 in the upper right. This project served as a testament to the capabilities of my telescope-camera setup, delivering impressive results even with a relatively short integration time.

Our galactic neighbors lying in the Ursa Major (Big bear) constellation are 12 million light years away from us. That means the light we see today originated from these galaxies 12 million years ago.

M81 and M82 are separated from each other by 150000 light years. M81 records a diameter of 90000 light years across. M81 consists of hot young stars which were born a few million years ago which make up most of the blue emissions.

About this image. I was so busy with work and family obligations the past many weeks and I can say I lost my inspiration.

Over the weekend, I managed to go with friends all the way to a dark location in Malaysia and found a new inspiration again...

My apologies for the zero visits in your streams.
