I recently did a fashion shoot for the women’s group I attend. I was a bit nervous as I haven’t ventured out with my camera for ages and felt a bit rusty. However they came out ok and the group were delighted with them. I did this for free. I’m doing ok ish, sorry I’ve not been on Flickr for a while, having had no new photos to post. I must try to get out more. Hope you guys are all doing well. Big hugs. 😘

About:

And now for something different:

I just climbed to Roy's peak and during the downhill I needed a rest, and I was so amazed by the beauty of the surroundings and the moving clouds, I decided to make a timelapse

Location:

Wanaka, New Zealand

This video is also geotagged

Technical stuff:

81 images merged to a video using the Slideshow option in Lightroom 3. First edited first picture: boosted contrast, clarity, vibrance and sharpening, added graduated filter on the sky of 0,6 stops on the sky. Copied the adjustments and pasted them on the 80 remaining pictures

Usage:

All my images are copyrighted, if you want to use it for anything contact me first.

Any comments, criticism and tips are welcome.

Day 171 of 365 - Acer Aspire One

View Large On Black - if you prefer :)

Sorry the photography mojo is still not flowing too well. But I did want to share with you guys this new toy. It's an Acer Aspire One d250 netbook. It came with windows but do not fear, fixed it ;). I put ubuntu netbook addition on it. Really cool little surfing machine. In any case hopefully I will start to think of some new things to shoot soon.

The banks of the Prairie river are really accessible in this stretch. Faster shutter speeds shows so much of the water's character.

Hello guys, I'm just finding tune with my HDR skills. Still very unrealistic, I wanna go for the natural HDR appeal but I guess the overtly details enhancer is so tempting. This was taken as test shots when I first got my S5 IS, hence the annoying handshakes hehe. I think architecture ain't my niche but heck, I'll give it a shot.

PS: I need a crash course on strobing

Awesome looking rock formations and spires at the top of the Cathedral Rock hike. The glow from the rock faces almost made it seem like they created light from within.

Was I happy in Aruba? Sure, how could one not be?

Well, this is what it looked like. Without going through heroic and time-consuming measures, that pillar is going to look darker than I would like but that's the way the light was at that time of day. Still, it was an awe-inspiring moment for me to click that shutter on this. It was a nice evening.

Salisbury Cathedral and local area the City of Salisbury in Wiltshire England. A Gothic cathedral which was built between 1220 and 1258. The spire is the tallest in the UK and it also has the worlds oldest working clock. Beautiful old city and cathedral. Former British Prime Minister Sir Ted Heath lived near cathedral too.

Another shot from my photo outing with flickr buddy Jaweed (J.G.R) in Doha, Qatar. This is the Aspire Tower located in the Sports City Complex.

Note : There are not two moons on this photo! The moon on the left is a sculpture! ;-)

This 318m tower Tower served as the focal point for the 15th Asian Games hosted by Qatar in December 2006. On the left side is a very modern mosque.

I know Explore does not mean anything, nor does it define a photographer... It is not a gauge of success nor artistry. But still, kindly allow me to most sincerely appreciate your friendship, and support, and your constant presence by my side as I tread my path.

Thank you, everyone, for these 400!!!

I would never be the ever-aspiring photographer I am now if not for you all.

Maraming salamat po!

Thank you very much!

Grazie!

Merci beaucoup!

Muchos gracias!
