I ask your indulgence twice.
First, I hope you will read this...please indulge me.
Second, an explanation of this photo needs your indulgence as well.
This has been a pretty bad year. From early spring the pandemic has dramatically limited...well...almost everything. My usual three-seasons daily driver, seen above, has remained parked and covered. Then, to add to the awfulness, on August 10 we had the almost armageddon-like inland hurricane -- derecho -- the 140mph winds of which destroyed so very much in my city. Driving a low-slung super sports car like this was LITERALLY impossible.
By my birthday, mid-October, we had already had three snowfalls, including one substantial one. These cars are not winter driving cars...nor are they much fun in the cold; we've already had too many sub-freezing temperatures.
So today...US election day...we got 'Indian Summer'. Temps into the 70s. Blue sky, bright sunshine. Who could resist taking the car out. Plus, by this date there are still likely to be some migrating waterfowl visiting the lake, so there I went, and had to take the car, top dropped.
Finally, over the last months we've been bombarded to the point of mania by all of the political advertisements and shenanigans. Getting out and escaping...first to the lake, and then on the road a bit...best medicine possible.
This weather is supposed to stay around for some days. Here's hoping. And I hope you enjoy the photo of of one my passions.

One of our models asked to shoot at a desert location so we settled on the Weiser Sand Dunes. We hoped for a cloudy, cool day. Instead we ended up with blinding sun, no clouds, and temps around 98 degrees at the start of the shoot. The first part of the shoot was dreadful but we found some shade and started having fun. Toward sunset we got some really great light and sand patterns. Overall a great shoot.
Jordain was brand new to us - she is a friend of one of the models and had never shot before. She picked it up quickly. Fun and adventurous young lady with long legs and beautiful eyes. I'd definitely shoot with her again.

Since today was the coldest day we have had since May I though that the warmth of Jamaica might be appropriate! I took this one while sitting at the bar on evening, waiting for our dinner reservations. The clouds that we saw while we were there were some of the best I've ever seen!
As for the technical details of this shot, I processed it a while ago and can't remember all the treatment. I don't want to give a partial story, so I will skip them today!

Lel, It's been quite the work in progress, but I'm extremely happy to announce the completion of Andrew Somers MH-6 Little Bird, and boy oh boy it feels really good to cross something off my to do list, and especially to have something as freaking kick-ass as this little model, which is extremely accurate in every aspect including them swooshes. Anyone with questions about how to build the MH-6 please ask Andrew who I've tagged below.
I know the name, only because an older gentleman came to me while I was shooting and asked me if I knew what they're called. I told him I didn't and so he said they are called "pink ladies"! After he said that, he leaned forward for a better look and he almost lost his balance and fell on me! Both of us could have ended up on the lake next to me!

Ask Any Girl has been one of my favorite Poppys for a long time. I never thought I'd get a chance to own her, since she's an older convention doll, but I saw a chance to get her on Ebay and nearly lost my mind. <3 <3 <3 She was transformed into a more natural style by her previous owner but she's still got that AAG thing about her that I just can't pinpoint that I love.

ESA is teaming up with international partners to explore the Moon as a destination for both robotic missions and human explorers.
Orion, the NASA spacecraft, will bring humans farther than they have ever been before relying on the European Service Module to return humans to the Moon and take advantage of the new technology for human space transportation. ESA is providing service modules that will provide propulsion, life support, power, air and water, and control the temperature in the crew module.
Luna-Resurs is a partnership with the Russian agency Roscosmos that will carry European technology to land precisely and safely on the Moon and to drill into the surface to extract and analyse samples of the lunar terrain.
The Agency is looking at how we could extract and process local resources into useful products and services, such as drinkable water or breathable oxygen on the Moon.
The Heracles mission could take of in 2028 to allow us to gain knowledge on human-robotic interaction while landing a spacecraft on the Moon to collect samples with a rover operated from an orbiting lunar gateway and send the samples back to Earth.

I don't think that'll be happening but I may look for bigger pads!
Also just showing off the new things I got at Kohl's during my last D.C. trip. The sweater-dress and the boots together were under $25 so I think I did pretty well.
It was also my first time wearing leggings. I really liked the look so you can bet you'll see more of them in the future.

Ok! Asking for some help: I have two Switch heads and I need to get them bodies. Those three are my favourites but I'm not sure about resin match. The easier one to get would be the Littlemonica one (as I can use layaway...) and Sadol's is beautiful too.
But I'm not sure about the sqlab one as the neck seems smaller...
