The Autumnal colours are always beautiful but the dark mornings are harsh. Any ideas how to make them better?

Wrightia antidysenterica, the coral swirl or tellicherry bark, is a flowering plant in the genus Wrightia. Wrightia antidysenterica is sometimes confused with the species Holarrhena pubescens due to a second, taxonomically invalid publication of the name Holarrhena pubescens. It has long been known in Indian Ayurvedic tradition. It is known in Sanskrit as kuṭaja or ambikā and in Sinhala it is called වල් ඉද්ද (wal idda). It is also known as "white angel" in the Philippines. (Source: Wikipedia)

Another from the beautiful Dawn I experienced this morning.

Actually, it's the parking lot at the mall. It's much too cold for me to try to shoot anything outside except through a window! It's supposed to be -22 tonight! This might break a weather record since the record low for tomorrow is -21.

The garden Chrysanthemums are still running riot and producing dozens of blooms each morning.

I have taken the opportunity to "exercise" an older generation and barely used camera these days. It is a brain stretching exercise for me too!

Many thanks to all who take the time to view, comment and fav my images.

Enjoy the day.

At the end of last month we had a pottery painting session. Although you can paint in store, we decided to choose some pots and bring them home to paint. This photo was taken on the day we took them in to be fired. Today I collected them in a taxi - will reveal what we painted tomorrow!

These love to give the runaround to photographers having several hiding places. They are extremely graceful to watch however and beautiful animals

Street art along Blands Cliff in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England.

Very near the end of my time working in Southwark, so I took a lunchtime wander to the Tate Modern. Art isn't really my thing, but I had a quick look round and took this shot looking out towards St Paul's Cathedral, with this installation in the foreground. I did read what the installation was, but it didn't really register in my philistine brain.

This took my eye, they had to drag me away, otherwise I would have been there all day.
