The dawn was of fragmented and swiftly changing light levels today and I always enjoy the opportunities that this phase of our beautiful satellite presents.
Wrightia antidysenterica, the coral swirl or tellicherry bark, is a flowering plant in the genus Wrightia. Wrightia antidysenterica is sometimes confused with the species Holarrhena pubescens due to a second, taxonomically invalid publication of the name Holarrhena pubescens. It has long been known in Indian Ayurvedic tradition. It is known in Sanskrit as kuṭaja or ambikā and in Sinhala it is called වල් ඉද්ද (wal idda). Actually, it's the parking lot at the mall. It's much too cold for me to try to shoot anything outside except through a window! It's supposed to be -22 tonight! This might break a weather record since the record low for tomorrow is -21.

Street art along Blands Cliff in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England.
Yesterday I spent the entire day shooting this branch of artichoke in 4x5 and 5x7 format, with various expired films. The conclusion is that most of the film is not doing too well, and in this case the moulding seems to get out of hand.
I will definitely make some dark room prints later this week, let's see what can be done with them!
