(Swedish: Fjäll) The Kebnekaise massif, which is part of the Scandinavian mountain range, has two main peaks called Kebnekaise. The glaciated southern peak used to be the highest at 2,120 metres (6,960 ft) above sea level, but has shrunk by 24 meters during the last 50 years, making the northern icefree peak at 2,096.8 metres (6,879 ft) the highest.

I found this in a folder with a bunch of miscellaneous shots. I don't know what it is, but I rather liked the blur and that pop of yellow.

One of about 250 terns at a nesting site, this breeding male was less than happy to have human guests anywhere in the vicinity.
The core of the Milky Way with Saturn and Mars. This shot is processed with colour balance to taste. This shot is a panorama made up of 4 rows and 5 columns, then trimmed (and rotated). Each panel is a median stack of 4 shots to get rid of shooting stars and satellites. The camera was mounted on a Nodal Ninja rotator to make positioning of the camera quick at night, however I didn't have it quite lined up right which is why there is a slight bow where it should be straight. This is partly because of the Earth's rotation between when I was aligning the rotator and when I actually got the shots. The full size trimmed shot is 9376 x 14518 pixels. This was taken just north of Hawker, South Australia, when the core was nearly directly overhead to try to get away from excess air glow. Stacked and merged in Photoshop, processed in Lightroom. Sigma lens.
Negative on moulded 4x5 Fomapan film. Print on Rollei Vintage 332 warm tone RC. Camera was Cambo SC, I forgot which lens. Probably a tiny unknown lens which I ripped of an old folding camera.
