The interview with Helen Zille was truly an imspiration. She is articulate, well informed, and a formidable political leader. Whilst I have not been a supporter of the Democratic Alliance, Mrs Zille made very clear, convincing arguments, answering our questions with ease.
In this photo you'll see Graham Power (sharing some facts from the www.unashamedlyethical.com website), Mrs Helen Zille, and our sound guy Chris.
I still lean a little further left in my political opinions, BUT I left the meeting with a sense of humility at having met one of the great people of our age! I shall be praying for Helen! I'm truly grateful that she has signed a commitment the being unashamedly ethical! Keep your eyes on our website for more details.

Bryan Kreutz and Lili Fox-Lim welcome Bonnie Gordon for a two-part interview. Bonnie Gordon showcases some of her voices. She articulates that voice acting gives her tons of freedom to try all different types of characters. Bonnie talks about being cast in a 1920s radio play called Tales of the Extraordinary. Bonnie talks about her time in 2014 on the ABC Network reality show called "Quest." set in a fantasy realm complete with characters and creatures that would be perfectly at home in any fantasy tale adventure. Gordon goes on to say her reality series is better than the reboot because it was adults and the first show of its kind while being shot by the same producers of Lord of the Rings. Creating her own character Bonnie Gordon discusses the very popular the Star Trek Table-top role-playing game (TTRPG) show using Star Trek adventures. She says they're all up on YouTube and about four hours long. Being a voice actor and a Trekkie, she called everyone she knew to try and get on the new animated show Star Trek: Prodigy and gives a shout out to the Hageman brothers, Dan and Kevin. Gordon talks about pulling every string she could just to get an audition including auditioning for a lead role. Being a huge fan of "Mama Troi", Bonnie discusses in great detail her USS Protostar Starfleet ship's computer voice is very different from Majel Barrett's. Furthermore, she initially asked if she was to mimic Barrett's and they said "no". Bonnie states she can't wait for people to see season 2 of Star Trek: Prodigy on Netflix. She says it's so good. Now that they made it to Starfleet, it can now be more like Star Trek.
Monster Claradolly is emotionally complicated and is often times misunderstood. She doesn't articulate words; instead, she expresses herself with physical gestures and grunts. When Monster Claradolly gets upset she throws tantrums. She gets particularly upset when people ignore her or don't understand what she wants. Monster Claradolly means well, but she doesn't always know the best way to communicate her intentions. She is very strong, and sometimes tries to push people aside when they're in her way. Monster Claradolly doesn't like to have her photograph taken because she is very self conscious about her looks. She is also very nervous about meeting new dollies; it usually takes her a long time to warm up to them. Monster Claradolly loves to get messy, when she gets paint all over her from painting she thinks it's really fun. Monster Claradolly also has very sensitive teeth, and doesn't like to eat or drink things that are too cold. She often times has trouble sleeping at night, and hides when she gets upset.
I don't give a hoot for the esoteric meaning, for the myth behind the moth... What we have to study is the joy of the eye.

If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn't need to lug around a camera. ~Lewis Hine This quote best conveys my inability to articulate my message in words and my ability to tell my story through photographs.
Like Thomas Cole in the Hudson Valley, I was inspired by the sublime in the world around me. While hiking through the Uintia Mountian Range and Ashley National Park in Utah, I was overcome by the sudden need to capture the moment in front of me. At the emotionally charged age of thirteen, I had never been this close to a wild animal before. I was transfixed by the abnormality of the situation. I wanted to posses that moment, share that single experience exactly as I saw it then.
I felt exposed and vulnerable, yet there was something comforting in the way the trees contained the cows, framing the natural composition. I was confronting the unknown at the same moment it was confronting me. The way the trees stood between the cows, and the way the cows stood between the trees made it seem like nature was speaking to me. I felt as though the simple juxtaposition of the subjects was there for me on impulse. Slowly, I raised my disposable camera, looked through the dirty and scratched viewfinder and snapped. This photograph was one of many, my primal shift between taking pictures and making photographs. It is my philosophy that, you don't take a photograph, you ask quietly to borrow it.
I have difficulty expressing myself and articulating my thoughts because of my ADHD and NLD. Recounting a story is a struggle for me. I feel as though I have to explain every aspect, facet, and element in order to convey my intended message. I get lost in the explanation, listeners loose interest and my message has been sullied as my train of thought derails. My photographs are a vehicle for my expression. A photograph is worth so much more than a thousand words. In my mind it is how I communicate with the world.

Featuring a highly articulate roof-scape. The way the corner becomes an enormously flat volume and violates the boundary of the cornice is pretty satisfying in its brutal non-conformity.

Se tu mi guardi in fondo al cuor vedrai
Un nome scritto con le nuvole
Che ombre disegna no di favola
Con la magia di un incantesimo.
E se quel nome leggerai
Una voce sentirai
La mia voce che ti dice
T'amo, t'amo, t'amo...
Sulle parole che si spendono
Cadono mille note tenere
E per la mia felicità
E per la tua felicità
Questo incanto resterà.
