This was a great introduction to the world of robotics. Everyone learned to create a basic circuit, what a short circuit is, how to mount and power a motor to create a one-of-a-kind moving robot and then the invention and creativity took hold. Even the on lookers had to get in on the action! Great job Ben Finio, Maria Christopher and Daymaker Lavon! — at Soha SMART.

Leaf: Aluminum / Light Railing: Steel Journeys is a collaboration with Dolores Kendrick, Poet Laureate of Washington D.C. Her poetry enriches the pedestrian experience. The integration of words into the artwork contributes to the multi-layered, richly textured public space. The leaf is illuminated from within at night, providing a beacon of light at the entrance to the station.

Dave, an Educator from Squam Lake Natural Science Center, gives a "Natural Encounters" talk at the Currier Museum Art Center the last week of summer camp, in August 2012, about threatened and endangered New Hampshire animals. The Art Center students, ranging in age from 5-12, created bat "lanterns" that they then sold at the conclusion of this week-long art camp to help raise money for Bat Conservation International. The event raised a little over $400 for this non-profit.
The Currier Museum Art Center, Manchester, NH, offers classes, workshops and camps for children, teens and adults and is associated with the Currier Museum of Art.

2006 Four towers: 27’H x 6’ diameter each Twin Rivers Community Park, Greeley, CO Glass / Aluminum Four colorful semi-transparent towers flank the entry to the Park, evoking the cyclical rhythms of seasonal change. The glass panels were fabricated in the Franz Mayer of Munich Studios. At night the towers are illuminated.
