Midland Classic MCW Metrobus 80 is seen at their garage on 04/09/2006.

This was new as an MCW Demonstrator in 1977 and has been retained in the Midland Classic fleet as a persevered vehicle.

Having a little sort through my hard drive to clear some spae, found this light trail which was taken nearly 2 years ago. Though i would post before it was erased for good, plus i havnt uploaded a light trail for quite some time now

Hi!

I have been missing in action and haven't taken photos for awhile, so looked thru my files and came up with these three. The one above I originally posted in a yellow version. I have been an absentee contact of late, as you know. I think I'm going through burn-out where photography is concerned. I have also been low energy since my surgery, and had some blood tests that showed I wasn't anemic, but my iron is low, so I've been taking iron pills for a week but feel no change. Anyway..... I want to wish all of you who celebrate Christmas a Merry Christmas, and say a general hello to those of you who don't. I look at your photos every day, and so enjoy doing that... Big hug and kiss to you all!

Looking back at some photos taken in the month of March. Came across these same ensemble just different hairstyles.

A very easy dress to wear comfortable and yet feminine.

Violet Grantham, Lady Mayoress of Newcastle upon Tyne, meeting a fortune-teller at the Town Moor Festival, 23 June 1937 (TWAM ref. DF.GRA/5/3). Could she have predicted that Violet Grantham would go on to serve as Sheriff 1950-51 and as Lord Mayor 1952-53?

These images belong to a series of albums documenting John Grantham’s service to the City of Newcastle upon Tyne as its Sheriff 1924-1925 and its Lord Mayor 1936-1937. John Grantham was born in Blyth in 1877 and became a cinema proprietor in Newcastle. He was elected to the City Council in 1912 and became an alderman in 1932. The albums give us an interesting insight into the duties of Lord Mayor and Sheriff as well as a fascinating picture of the times.

2016 is the 800th anniversary of the creation of Newcastle's Mayoralty and Burgesses.

JESUS ❤️ SAVES

10 The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:10)

Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so they might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!

Being a bit restricted in my photography at the moment due to a trapped nerve I had a rummage through my archives and found this "experimental" shot taken 12 months ago.
