Palazzo Vecchio in Florence is mostly known for it rugged sandstone facade but its interior contains no minor inspiring sights. This detail, for instance, was shot in its monumental courtyard.
Maharashtra Police Headquarter, formerly known as the Royal Alfred Sailor's Home, commemorated the visit of Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh, to the city in 1870. It was the first monumental building constructed at Wellington Circle between 1872 - 76. Built to house 78 seamen, this heritage property was designed by Frederick William Stevens using local high-quality stone in an early or 'domestic' Gothic style of architecture. Positioned near the coast, this building benefited from ventilation by the sea air. To further cool the interior, the structure was encased within a deep corridor.

"Praha hlavní nádraží" is the largest and most important railway station in Prague in the Czech Republic. It was originally opened in 1871 and named Franz Josef Station after Franz Joseph I of Austria. It was extended and rebuilt in Art Nouveau / Secession style on the design of architect Josef Fanta around 1909.
Otto Wagner, the pioneering architect of Vienna's Art Nouveau era, was the designer in charge of the construction of Stadtbahn, a rail service running underground in some sections, as an elevated system in others, around 1900.
The Art Nouveau pavilions were erected in 1898 in the course of Stadtbahn construction. Otto Wagner planned two portal buildings of identical design. Today, in summer, the Wien Museum uses the west pavilion and the other one is a café.

The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is an orthodox cathedral in the Tallinn Old Town, Estonia.
The Cathedral crowns the hill of Toompea and was built during the period of late 19th century Russification and was so disliked by many Estonians as a symbol of oppression that the Estonian authorities scheduled the cathedral for demolition in 1924, but the decision was never implemented due to lack of funds and the building's massive construction. As the USSR was officially non-religious, many churches including this cathedral were left to decline. The church has been meticulously restored since Estonia regained independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.

Old houses located in the residential district of Square Ambiorix in Brussels.
Brussels is the capital of Art Nouveau and magnificent structures throughout the capital city are recognized as "world heritage" by UNESCO. The brilliant creative works of Victor Horta, Paul Hankar, as well as those of other architects, bring pleasure to thousands of visitors who enter the private world of these opulent houses every year.
At the turn of the 19th century Brussels went through a period of unrivaled effervescence. The middle classes, merchants and artists opted to have their houses built in the style in vogue: Art Nouveau, marking the beginning of modern architecture and design.
The Austrian architect Josef Hoffman and painter Gustav Klimt, the French architect Hector Guimard all joined the Belgian architects Victor Horta en Paul Hankar, Henry van de Velde, the furniture designer Serrurier-Bovy and the jeweler Philippe Wolfers to get their inspiration or produce themselves for the first time in a more liberal city.

having a bit of an abstract moment there. Detail from the Tuck shop, Holywell St. corner Mansfield Rd.
The photograph captures a fragment of ancient Rome through its columns. Their repetition and weathered surfaces suggest endurance built over centuries. In a city where new layers constantly rise beside the old, these structures testify to how the past endures while discoveries keep adding to its fabric.
Thanksgiving in New York City. It was my first time there and what a joy that city was. A few photos of Ground Zero.
Address Beach Resort has such an amazingly looking facade … was in instant love with the design and the blue red exterior … kept shooting all along the bridge starting from Jumeira Beach to Bluewaters Island.
Stationing a tripod and shooting a long exposure blue hour visual was just not possible as professional photography anywhere on this bridge is not allowed .. shooting it handheld and sneakily were the options left.
