This just in: The neighbours have put up the first christmas decorations in the window were you previously have seen Benny the Boxer. Only one hour later it began to snow!

The old city of Marstrand.

How is that for a poetic description!

The high rise building at Poseidon's Square in Handen, reflected in the windows from the Cultural Centre. We had two days of sunshine, Sunday and Monday, now it's back to that familiar grey sky again.

there were rules for this Swedish summer break : no alarm clock, no watch, no city, no shops (other than grocery shopping) only countryside, sea, and a lot of rest.

This is one of the white marble Calatrava sculptures that the boss of HSB saw in an art exhibit folder that convinced him to ask Calatrava to design them the first twisted skyscraper in the world based on the idea behind the sculpture, a twisted male torso drawn by Calatrava.

The sculpture's name, Turning Torso, can be traced back to the namesake series of female sculptures by Alexander Archipenko (UKR, Kiev, May 30, 1887 - USA, NYC, February 25, 1964). www.archipenko.org/

It resulted in the HSB Turning Torso (2001-2005), a 190 m high residential tower, located at
